Exeter Hobbies

I’ve always had a very hit and miss experience here but my latest just might be my last. I couldn’t even be acknowledged at any point of my visit and I was very interested in making a significant purchase of a drone. One employee was mostly chatting and did ring up a couple customers while another appeared to be on a computer the whole time. Neither bothered to even ask if I needed help or even glance my way. While I’ve never had a great experience here, this was the worst of them. They do offer a very good selection of hobby needs and that selection does keep improving over time. I will give them that much.

OMG!!! OK.“Nana I want a rc car for Christmas” sure Eli, what kind?” «it’s a Traxx Nana a race car really fast too!!”“Nana is now headed to Traxx online to see what I could see!!! Well, Nana has «duh» tattooed on forehead! But for this little guy… he’s gonna get what he wants! The Traxx Website is OUT OF STOCK for what he wants,(sad face) recommends check for it local. WOW I am so glad I did! Exeter Hobbie had the right one! Bought car, mailed it out 15 minutes after purchase. son opens it up in Oaklahoma, …and it’s not working! cell buzzes, Mom. help…ok son. let me check… called the young man I made the purchase from, he said, sure let me help, have your son call me.(on a Sunday no less) and he talked him through the part of directions «we» both missed! and over the cell all the way to Oaklahoma, the car now runs perfectly. Iif son will return the car to the box and wrap it again for grandson for «His» Christmas all will be great! The person at Exeter Hobbies, (Kenny) helped me and I am so grateful! Blessings to all there, and a Very, very Merry Christmas to them! Outstanding customer service!

yesterday was my second visit here. it can be intimidating when ur about to spen 400 on something u dont know much about, but the guys here made it easy and let me know what kind of truck would best be suited to me. I kept comparing prices online and here, but decided to have the support and atmosphere of exeter hobby to supply me w my truck and its replacement parts. im very satisfied and look forward to blowing my paychecks here.

I absolutely love this place. The staff is friendly and knowledgable and it’s so nice to have a designated place to run your R/​C cars.

Wants free help from racers in selling cars and such but won’t listen to racers when they ask for things such as a layout change, refers to new hobbyists as new blood the only persons $$ that is important is his own.

Great store! Their prices are very competitive and their service is top notch. They have a good selection of electric cars and many parts. The main part of the store has about ten huge 1:5 scale cars that are fun to drool over. The best part is the store has a big indoor dirt track where you can drive your cars as well as an area for driving rock crawlers and a substantial area for repairing your cars and charging batteries (There are very few facilities like this in the valley) You can also rent cars and drive them on the track for a pretty reasonable price. If remote control isn’t your thing you will soon be able to rent realistic air soft guns and shoot zombie targets. The employees are nice guys and are happy to help you with any problems. All in all this shop is one of the best around and one that I’d recommend to anyone interested in RC cars. CHECK THIS PLACE OUT! You won’t be disappointed.

An excellent spot for all your RC car needs. The store has the required fun atmosphere and even lets you test drive your cars before you buy them on their indoor track.
