Called to make an appointment for an estimate. Was told that there would be someone there the next morning so, of course, I took the morning off to be there. No one ever showed, no one ever called. I didn’t call for a re-​schedule because if they can’t even make a call to do an installation estimate, I could only image the disaster that would happen if they were actually contracted to do the work.

Let me start by saying the garage door is an average insulated door. If I could have installed it myself it would have been a heck of a lot cheaper. They did a fine job of installing it but, they didn’t tell me I would need someone to install a gfi plug in order to have the garage door opener work (which I also paid to have installed). Then to top things off they neglected to inform me that there would be an additional charge of 4% to pay be credit card. Since I didn’t have an extra $ 1000 lying around to pay them it cash. I had to pay the extra 4% charge. Not only do I think it is unfair to charge the extra fee at all but, to never have disclosed it upfront was really unfair.
