History

Established in 2008.

Taste Buds Deli & Pizza was started in late 2008 by Bud Patel, who is also the owner of Dawn Bottle & Spirits Inc. located just a block away on the corner of Parkway Avenue and Pennington Road. The business originally started out as a deli/​sub shop and convenience store, but has since evolved into a fine Italian establishment in early 2013. Bud Patel is looking to expand his business to the Ewing and Trenton markets, and hopes his business becomes a household name in the community. Taste Buds Deli & Pizza has always prided itself on fresh, quality foods served at bargain prices, and we continue to live by this mission statement each day. Bud has hired an experienced chef, John Bianco, who has more than 30 years experience in the Italian foods industry. Bud and John are looking to grow the business within the Ewing and Trenton communities by offering the best food in town at the lowest prices possible. Please come and try our food. Bud Patel is a young, energetic entrepreneur whom prides himself on giving great customer service, and truly understands all that it takes to succeed in small business. Bud was born in 1984 in New Brunswick, NJ and grew up in the small town of Spotswood. In 2006, Bud graduated from The Ohio State University with his degree in Real Estate and Finance. Soon thereafter, Bud bought his first business in the Chambersburg area of Trenton, NJ. After great success, Bud has expanded his businesses across a wide variety of industries and locations throughout the NJ and NY areas. Bud currently is the President and CEO for Dawn Bottle & Spirits Inc. (Ewing, NJ), Taste Buds Deli & Pizza (Ewing, NJ), Dinsha Bar & Grill Inc. (Trenton, NJ), and is also an owner/​franchisee for two franchise day care centers; the Learning Experience North Brunswick, NJ and Piscataway, NJ. Bud also serves as President for DiMazine Newstands Inc., which is a chain of retail newsstands in New York City.
