I’m so glad I found a place close to home that does such a great job. I’m really nervous about getting my hair cut because sometimes the stylist takes off too much and I end up looking like a child. Not here though.
I had Michelle, and she was super sweet. She was really attentive to what I wanted for a cut and that the length was good for me. I ended up cutting more than normal but it was really needed (I haven’t had a haircut in a looooooong time) and she did a beautiful job of styling my hair. It looks beautiful.
The pricing is great too :) I will definitely be returning and recommend to friends!

Loved the way Joanne did my brows! Definitely recommend this place. It’s small, but nice and cozy. Very clean environment and the staff is very friendly and welcoming. Will be coming back here again!
Brow waxing/​tweezing/​threading: $ 15

After reading all the Unilocal reviews I figure I try this place close to home I called at 2:00 today to make an appointment for 2:30 guess today was a slow day since it was a rainy day anyways indah did my hair I’m very happy with the outcome when she talked to me about my hair she understood what type of hair style I wanted and tweaked it to what fit me since my hair is thick and heavy medium lengthed she told me that she’ll thin it out and not cut so much layers because when I leave my hair natural it won’t be so frizzy or puff up. I love that indah is very friendly and sweet she makes you feel comfortable thank you so much and I will definetly be there again!

Never ever ever wait until the last minute to find someone to do your brows. When you procrastinate, you end up desperate and you settle.
I was desperate a couple of weeks ago to find someone do my brows and I found Simply Nice here on Unilocal.I quickly skimmed through the reviews and read that Michelle was the girl to go to. Oh how I wished that I read Alexis S.‘s review.
I show up to my appointment and I sit in Michelle’s chair. Joanne (or Joanna?) was there waiting for her client to show up. I tell Michelle that I found her on Unilocal and that she had a lot of great reviews. Michelle says «Is it me because there was another Michelle that worked here. I’m Michelle 2.» My immediate thought is OH SH! T this isn’t the girl. For some reason I turn to look at Joanne and she quickly says «NO! That’s the right Michelle!» Yeah, right. I should’ve walked away at that moment.
I take a leap of faith and let Michelle do her thing. Fifteen minutes into the session, my eyes are closed and I can hear the both Michelle and Joanne talking and Joane is telling Michelle what to do! I can feel that they’re taking off a lot more hair then I’m used to, and so I open my eyes and there is Joanne, pointing at my brows telling Michelle how to make them even and where to take out more hair!!! W. T. F. If she truly is the Michelle that all they previous Unilocal reviewers are raving about, tell me why is she getting instructions like a newbie and why are my brows far from being on fleek!!! I was upset and pissed that Joanne had straight up LIED to me. My brows were messed up, but not messed up enough that I can’t grow them back (i hope) and thank goodness that I can fill them in to make them look decent.
I would’ve given them a couple more stars if Joanne hadn’t LIED about Michelle. And Michelle kept her mouth shut knowing full well that she wasn’t the girl on Unilocal.

Simply Nice Salon says it all. They’re simply nice and welcoming. I heard so much good reviews about this place and I finally got the chance to go there. I went there to get my brows done and Michelle did a great job doing it. Out of all the places I did my brows, this is the best and only place I’ll go. She’s really nice and talked to me throughout the process. She threaded my brows too which was my very first time. She also offered to shade in my brows. As for their salon, it is a small cute place next to 7 – 11.

Heard of this place for the first time from my coworker who got her hair done with Michelle, me living in Ewa beach I figure I’d give it a try since I cut my hair monthly & travel to Waipahu to do so. My first visit I went on a Friday, after calling to make sure they would be able to take me. I was seen by Joanne who was very sweet & friendly! We conversed the entire time while she was cutting my hair, which she did an awesome job doing. I have a bob cut & not everyone can master it, luckily she did it perfectly that my mom went to have her hair done with her as well
2^nd visit today, I actually called the day before to see if I could make an appointment for my fiancé & I, spoke to Michelle who was so friendly & consulted with me as nervous as I was considering it was my first time going to an actual salon to do my brows after growing them out for 2 months they were crazy. Came in & was seen within 5 minutes of waiting since she was with another client. She handed me a mirror & told me exactly how she would help my brows be shaped. I was waxed, threaded, trimmed and she even asked if she could fill them in. She made my first experience worthwhile, & comfortable while we shared our stories of our vacations. On the other hand, my fiancé who gets his brows done every so often said coming here was the best brow treatment he’s had, not painful & not rushed which Michelle did take her time & was very patient with my fiancé always stopping to rub his eyes haha.
I will definitely be returning & if you live in Ewa beach or not stop by this wonderful salon & ask for Michelle or Joanne!

Excellent customer service. Michelle verifies how you’d want your eyebrows to look and is very patient with your needs and let’s you know everything that she’s doing. Friendly and assertive staff!

All around this place is great! The customer service is amazing. The salon is small but there pretty busy. They take walk ins but it’s better if you can make an appointment. When I went in there were 2 stylist Michelle and Joanne I believe, Michelle did my hair and she was very gently and she helped me with every question I had. Also I wasn’t to sure so I asked for her advice on what I should do and she helped me. I will definitely come back! If you live around Ewa Beach, Ewa this is a must see salon

For almost two years, this was my go-​to for eyebrows. Michelle threaded consistently for me. I have vey sensitive skin, and after a bad burn from waxing at Royal Nails in Kapolei, I knew I was done with waxing. Michelle knew how sensitive my skin was and would put products on my skin both before and after threading. She was very easy to talk to and very funny!
Joanne and Indah were always very sweet and make everyone in the small salon feel welcome.
I’m cutting down a star because unfortunately, Michelle doesn’t work here anymore and she was the reason for me consistently coming to the salon. I’m leaving for college so I’ll need a new eyebrow lady anyway, but Michelle was a go-​to for me and a handful of my friends!
Still recommend this salon for others. Every customer while I’m in the salon loves their outcomes and the ladies that run this shop definitely know their stuff. Great salon to have in Ewa, super convenient for those like me that live right there in Ewa Villages.

Indal did magic on my eyebrows. I haven’t done them in a month, just imagine how bad they were. She’s great! Super informative, anything she did she explained why. She waxed, threaded, & trimmed my monstrosities I called eyebrows. I recommend her & their cute salon.

Came in today to do my eyebrows with Joanne (first timer). I told her my skin was sensitive so she made sure the wax wasn’t too hott. She also does threading which I never did before, it cleans up very nicely anyways if u want to do your eyebrows I recommend Joanne :)

Just had an appointment with Michelle, she was wonderful. I went in for a trim and thats exactly what I got. Usually when I ask for trim I end up with 3 – 4 inches off. She helped tone down my ombré so it wasnt so orangy blonde. Great experience and I would definitely recommend to anyone local. Salon is right between to Zippys and the gas station on ft weaver.

I don’t even know where to start with this review. I still want to cry and punch myself in the face whenever i look at my hair. It was so bad that even my 5 & 7 yr old nieces made fun of me.
I made an appointment for 9:15 am on ⁵⁄₂₁. Walked in, was greeted by one of the stylists. She sounded surprised that i had an appointment as if they weren’t expecting me. She quickly looked in her appointment book and said that i was with Inda? I think that was her name. I waited for about 7 minutes while she finished with a client’s eyebrows. She greeted me and asked what i wanted done. I showed her some pics and we agreed that i wanted to keep my length and trim off 2 inches. She even showed me how much of the ends she was going to cut off. We also talked about long layers and how i wanted my fringe. Not too thick, not too blunt, and kind of wispy. Before coming here i haven’t had my hair cut in over a year. My hair reached down to my rib cage. After the cut, it is above my boob. Thats about 4 inches. She just kept cutting and never once asked if the length was ok, never asked if the length of the shortest layer was ok. And oh man, dont even get me started on the fringe. She said, I’m going to cut it long first ok? And then i cut shorter if u want.” i said ok. And then after that she just kept cutting it shorter and shorter! One side is shorter than the other and theres a short chunk right in the center. She never asked if the length of the fringe was ok… Just kept cutting again. At this point i could tell my hair was going to be horrible. I told her that I didnt like my bangs and that they weren’t even. She tried to cut it some more, but then it’d be up to my eyebrows! So i just told her no, its ok I’m done. And another thing, they dont shampoo your hair. She just started straightening my hair and then cut it. My hair had no volume whatsoever. It was flat except for the tight juvenile curls she styled for me. The cut came to $ 29.32. I still gave her $ 10 tip because she’s a nice lady and I’m not an asshole. When i paid she said, «i told you i was cutting long first.» and i said «yeah but afterwards you just kept cutting and never asked if the length of my bangs was ok. She said sorry and i left. Sat in my car for 5 minutes… Examined the damage, tied my hair back into the short pony tail that it is now and cried for a little bit because i looked like a disgusting 12 year old boy. I keep telling myself that hair grows and that maybe within a month my fringe wont look like something i did myself when i was drunk.

I came into the salon without knowing what I wanted. I know big no no. But, Joanne had a vision and it turned out wonderful!
I had boring straight hair and she gave my highlights and beautiful layers. She left me looking stunning! It looks so natural and lovely.
I feel bad because I think I under-​tipped, but I’ll be back to make up for it!
I will be back! I’m happy here’s a wonderful salon in Ewa!!!

Eyebrows are a big deal for me and I decided to come here to get my eyebrows waxed. I made an appointment last minute but they weren’t busy so once I got there I waited 2 minutes and was getting started on. My eyebrows were plucked, waxed, threaded, and trimmed. It only cost about $ 15. The top pic is before all of this. Middle pic is only the right brow waxed. Bottom pic is the finished result. I am beyond happy with my brows and will be returning here every time for my brows. I got them done by Indah

I went in to get a trim and eyebrow wax, came 5 minutes early to my appointment and still had to wait 15 minutes. Once in the chair to get eyebrows waxed she didn’t ask how I liked them, I said I just wanted them shaped and she just made them way too thin for my face. I should have just walked out but I figured it’s not hard to mess up a trim. I said trim probably five times to be clear. She didn’t even ask if I wanted to have my hair shampooed. Didn’t ask if the length she started chopping off was ok with me. Before I knew it she had chopped off 4 inches of my hair!!! By then it was too late to stop. Once she was done she even asked if I wanted it shorter!!! Basically did not listen to a word I said and just did what she wanted. I left very upset. I would not recommend this salon at all.

What a hidden gem in Ewa Beach! Who would’ve thought such a small salon contains such amazing people who does high quality work!
Joanne who is the owner truly does an amazing job with eyebrows! Joanne emphasizes on that arch! yes! that arch is a must! Eyebrows on point! She also fills them in! Amazing!! I use to go to her before and lost track of her when she left the other salon she was working at. Now I’m so glad that I found her!
Ok so I had an ombré and was totally done with it! Michelle who cut my hair way back when did such an amazing job in blending my ombré to one color with partial lowlights. She and Joanne tagged team and worked on my hair. They was able to tone down the ombré color to a non bleach look and was able to blend my top half into my the bottom half!
I am one happy girl!!! So thankful that my boyfriend stumbled upon this place! I’m loving how it is so close to home! yes! yes! yes! Reasonable prices too might I add! lots of free parking! Amazing staff! Family like environment!

Thank goodness for Unilocal in finding this place. My brows were in desperate need if a make over. Indah didn’t rush and she did a beautiful job. Price was right too: $ 15 and she definitely deserves more than a 20% tip. I’m so happy I found her. Its enjoyable to put makeup on now that my face is framed correctly. Thanks Indah! I’ll be a repeat customer for sure!

I was in dire need to wax my wild overgrown brows for my daughters upcoming birthday party. I was in the area and popped right in to see if they were able to take me as a walk in. They did!!!
Michelle did my brows. Shes such a doll! Very easy to talk to, friendly and did a beautiful job whipping my unruly brows into shape. She used a variety of threading and waxing to shape and clean them up. I never had that done before, usually it’s either or. but they came out great! I am NEVER going anywhere else again!

Thanks to Unilocal!I found this place while on travel. I called for a same day appointment and they were nice enough to squeeze me in for an eyebrow waxing and two haircuts for my boys. The ladies greeted me as soon as I walked in and taken cared of right away.
The esthetician asked me questions about how I wanted my brows done and even showed me her work after the first brow. She took her time and was very clean. No left over wax on my face nor clothes (+1 star).
I was really satisfied with her work and my brows got the island treatment.
My bill came out to $ 26 for eyebrows and upper lip wax.
Haircuts for men: $ 16
Haircuts for kids: $ 13 — They did a fantastic job on my son’s haircut and actually took the time to ask what we wanted and did it.
I would definitely come back when I’m in town!
