Who would have thought a hospital dining hall could look so cute?
I brought my brother for some doctors appointments and by the time he was done we both were hungry and just wanted to eat. I noticed this place on Unilocal and decided to check it out since we were in the next building. It was about 3pm when we dropped it. It was very quiet, just a couple people around. The area is very clean and nicely decorated.
It seems like they have a small set menu and they also have food items that differ each day, which adds a nice variety factor to it. Prices were not bad at all. My brother got a double loco moco for 6.99. They have a few pre packaged salads to offer, along with fruit cups, yogurt parfait and assorted snacks. They have a nice selection of bottles drinks (although they’re about a dollar more) and they also have self serve Starbucks coffee. Not bad at all.
Service was also very friendly and the good was made fresh and came out in no time. I got a Greek salad which was good and my brother’s loco moco was really good for a hospital dining hall.
This place is located on level 5 to the left when you get off the elevator. Give them a try if your in for an appointment and need a bite to eat, I know I’ll be back if I’m around the area again.

Ok, I was here at the newly built Queens West for a VA errand. I was told there was a new, fancy cafeteria on the top floor, right next to the VA office, so what do I do? Yup, I Unilocal it! Voilà! I mean the name is cool and all, but frankly was only expecting a bland, gray cafeteria! Oh, how wrong was I! I walk in to a myriad of colors with moderne décor! I’m impressed! To the far end is the self-​serve coffee bar… Serving 3-​types of STARBUCKS Coffee! Yup, you heard that right! Not a coffee drinker? They have sodas, juice, water and teas, too! I also noticed fruit & salads of all sort and pre-​made sandwiches for the healthier appetite!
I walk on over to the order counter and noticed all the delicious breakfast offerings! The time is 9:20am, so looks like breakfast will do! I noticed the tempting French Toast for $ 1.99! Again $ 1.99! I’m sure it’s not on par w/​«Sweet E’s» orgasmic French Toast, but for $ 1.99?! Still, I’m craving greasy and what better than the Loco Moco for $ 3.99! Word! $ 3.99! Yup, so I order…
LOCO MOCO: I waited maybe 5 minutes before its called out that it’s ready! It’s piping hot! Comes with the standard hamburger patty (more like a Salisbury), egg over easy, over fluffy rice with brown gravy all over! Even though I noticed the meat more a Salisbury… It was still very yum!
The meat was moist, eggs cooked just right, rice fresh, and gravy not over powering. Of course, the best part is this puppy was only $ 3.99!
STARBUCKS COFFEE: Typical Starbucks Coffee — choice of Café Verona Dark, Pike Place Roast Medium or Decaf. Half/​half or 2% milk. Real sugar or fake sugar. Bonus point for being self-​serve! Small $ 1.75!
I grab a seat next to a window and stare at the Pacific blue stretching from Ewa Beach to Diamond Head while I enjoy my $ 6.00 breakfast! Wow! I could live here! So yes, I recommend this cool, colorful hospital cafeteria called…

It’s located on the 5th floor of Queens West Hospital, Fort Weaver Rd. in Ewa Beach, open everyday 6:30am — 6:30pm! It’s only a «cafeteria» by name because TBH it was pretty swank! The employees are nice enough, the seating area was clean and relaxing, the grub was good and cheap… all this with a MILLION DOLLAR VIEW, TOO! SIGN ME UP, MINNIE!
