Went there today for Valentine’s Day brunch. We had never been there before so we planned ahead and made reservations. We guy there a little early and walked around in the pro shop for a few minutes before going in. When we went it, the staff was still scrambling around getting things set up. No big deal. The waitress came and took our drink order. I didn’t catch her name but she was very nice and attentive. In fact, all the staff was like that. Finally, the buffet was ready and we dug in. They had salad, and several Asian dishes. Bacon and fried spam could also be seen. Two different kinds of rice and teriyaki chicken were also on the line. All in all, the food was good. It wasn’t great — but it was good. The lady who seemed to be the manager came out and also offered eggs made to order(yum!). They were pretty good, hot and fresh. Unfortunately we had to leave abruptly. I think the staff thought it had something to do with their service or the food. It wasn’t. However, although there was nothing wrong with the food of service, we’ve decided we will probably not be returning. Thank you for a good meal in a friendly atmosphere!

The food was good and affordable, which was a relief. However the best thing about this place was service, especially Susan. We had my mothers birthday party here and she was exceptional! Went above and beyond to accommodate our demands. She made this event very special and easy for us. Thank you Susan! Anyone looking to have a party here, I would highly recommend Pueo’s.

Needed a spot to watch UH games. This place is ok. Good place in Ewa Beach for decent food, beer and watching the UH game. I watched the Washington & Oregon State games here. No complaints at all. Food was ok. Had the pupu platter B. Wings, Katsu, Kalbi and Calamari. Was enough to fill 3 people. Had no service issues even though it was packed both times. It is a little pricey compared to other restaurants in the area. I will definitely come back to watch the games and probably during the week to try the oxtail.

Hmm, we came since Social Hour Inc at the Ewa VIllages Municipal course closed up shop early for the day… We sat on the bar and there were only 1 — 3 other patrons at Pueo. There was an employee behind the bar that was drinking w other patrons at the bar, but she seemed to ignore us. Another employee walked by and she was oblivious to us as well. Finally, after about 10 minutes, in swooped Brandy(sp?) – she delivered great customer service and treated us with a caring, empathetic demeanor. I can only conclude the workers were assigned sections and that Brandy serviced the bar? Well, service sucked except for Brandy who was stellar. At this 19th hole, I ordered their hamburger steak. At about $ 10, the portions were good with two large patties but were accompanied by a scant share of onions and mushrooms. The patties were overcooked – dry and hard. With so few patrons, there is no excuse to not paying attention to the cooking food… =( While I like playing at Coral Creek and think it is a great course with excellent facilities, I cannot give my stamp of approval for Pueo. Service was poor(except for Brandy) and the food was substandard.

Not bad at all… I’ve read the previous reviews and to be honest was a bit skeptical to try it. But after a long morning of golfing, we worked up an appetite and decided to give it a go for our post-golf lunch. The waitresses were both very friendly and quickly greeted us upon arrival and took our drink order. The place was bustling with other golfers/diners who were also enjoying a lunch time bite and despite the large number of guests, the waitresses managed to take care of everyone efficiently. The menu is nice and simple with a variety of standard local style dishes. They also run daily specials, which unfortunately the waitress did not tell us about. We were sad to overhear her telling another guest about the special oxtail soup after we had already ordered… bummers. We ordered our lunch, Kimchee fried rice for him, a clubhouse sandwich with fries for me, and an 8 piece gyoza to share. This was my first clubhouse sandwich at «the clubhouse»…how exciting :) The food was out in about 10 minutes and we watched the Golf channel while we waited. The food was hot and delicious and we both enjoyed our meals. The atmosphere was casual and friendly. We will definitely plan on enjoying our next post-golf meal at Pueo’s.

Worst business in town! Suggestion: Visit elsewhere & don’t waste a penny in this place.

The oxtail soup and the pig’s feet soup, which are the featured Specials of the Day on Fridays are actually really good. Broth is very tasty, lots of tender meat and a variety of vegetables, which you don’t normally get in the traditional soups. Their Korean food is also really good. I’ve tried their spicy pork, which came on a sizzling platter mixed with cabbage. A bit different from what I expected, but the sauce was exceptionally tasty and the meat was very tender. They also serve kal bi and bul go gi, which were both seasoned well. Their prices are also okay, compared to some of the other«eat-in» establishments in the area. Of course, I’m comparing portion size and variety of foods to the price. It is a nice change from the standard fare in the area, such as Zippy’s, Shiro’s, Genki’s and the regular fast food joints. I do agree with most of the other reviewers in that the service is much to be desired. I think, in the dozen times I’ve been here(for brunch, lunch, and happy hour), I’d say I’ve only had decent service twice. The wait staff seems more preoccupied in stocking shelves or interested in more personal issues behind the bar than the customers coming in to dine or having a few cold ones.

This restaurant is located at the Coral Creek Golf Course in Ewa Beach. I was expecting some mean grinds, but came up empty handed. :(The menu has some great sounding dishes, but what I imagined in my head was nothing like what was served. There were 6 of us… 3 of us wives accompanying our golf-loving husbands, and all of us enjoy a good meal. We were hungry after 18 holes, and took our time perusing the menu. I settled on a teriyaki beef sandwich w/fries, and the rest of the group ordered club sandwich w/fries, oxtail soup(not on the menu, but listed as a special), cheeseburger w/fries, and a platter A(calamari, chicken, fries, and something else). The teriyaki beef sandwich didn’t even appear to be teri beef. The meat was super thin sliced and didn’t taste marinated, although there was some salty sauce on top of it. And it was served an a sub-style bun which was too thick and totally drowned out the meat taste. The cheeseburger was a cheeseburger, nothing extraordinary. I didn’t try the oxtail, but the person who ordered it said it was just ok. The club sandwich was dry and my sister-in-law had to ask for mayo to make it better. The chicken on the platter needed salt. At least the fries were good. Who can mess up fries, right?

I came here to watch the Sunday night NFL game because it’s down the street, and I always see the advertisements for UH and NFL games. In all, it’s your basic golf course restaurant setup with perhaps the smallest bar in the area. The GOOD: I was the only person at the bar, and the TV was tuned in and literally in front of my face. The service was excellent, and the draft beers were reasonably priced. I ordered some buffalo wings, and they weren’t bad. In all, I had an okay time, but I was trying to keep it as low-key as possible, since I only had the game on my mind(with my team headlining). Would I take my family out to dinner here? Probably not. Would I return to have some beers and watch a game. Sure.

I rather have this place close down, then spend your hard earned money here… They advertised UH and Monday games play here. This place is a BIGJOKE… service SUCKS too the max. i NOKIDYOU… BELIEVEME… Your food order is wrong and then you get your bill which they overcharge… I know alot of people in Ewa Beach… I have a story to tell them about this lousy place… My suggestion, save your hard earned money and go somewhere else. Too that guy who called me a Liar Liar Liar… People have rights to there opinion. You must work there.

Located at Coral Creek Golf Course: I would pass by this place almost everyday. I would see the signs posted up advertising the buffet. There is a breakfast buffet 6−10am for $ 9 and a brunch buffet for $ 15.95. I love brunch buffets: D I decided to try it out but did not really care for what I saw at the buffet. I would rather go to sizzler and get one of the value menu items for about the same price. So I opted for one of the special for that day. I got the sizzling new york steak(it wasn’t sizzling). The steaks from Blazin steaks or cooked at Foodland Ewa is much tastier. The portion was really small. It wasn’t worth the $ 10.95. I left hungry! My husband said his hamburger steak was alright. I believe this is the only bar in Ewa and there are 2 flat screen T.V.‘s. We tried out this place on a Football Sunday. So it was jammed pack with golfers and people just wanting to watch the game. I guess if your golfing there it would be okay to check it out because of convenience. But there are a handful of other restaurants near by.
