Excellent service from a great family business! I have two dogs who shed a lot and after they finished cleaning there wasn’t a hair left in the place. They are very thorough on all of their cleaning services. My windows, screens, and fans have never looked better.

Needed a cleaner last minute and this was the only one available. On the scheduled day they were two hours late, but they stayed well into the night and still I had to go back and spot clean afterwards what was the purpose of that if I am paying them to clean!!! Also her prices are very high and this is the #1 business on Angie’s list!!! Wow! Take your business elsewhere.

Kau’i Kleaners is the third house cleaning company I’ve used for a move out. The other two were referred by friends but weren’t available this time around so I found Kau’i Kleaners through Unilocal.
Dealing with Kau’i of Kau’i Kleaners has been a mixed bag… she’s a great communicator, very responsive and the home was cleaned thoroughly, but actually getting it cleaned and then the payment process afterwards wasn’t very smooth.
My appointment was at 2 p.m.; she texted me at 12:55 p.m. that she needed to push it back to 3 p.m. as they were running late because a team member was a no show. At 3:30 p.m. she and one of her team arrived with limited supplies as the others were still at another site. The rest showed up at 6:30 p.m. but they called it a night at 7:30 p.m., saying they would finish my home the next day. I was okay with that since 1) I allowed for an extra day as a contingency and 2) I knew my son would be at the house to clear out the enclosed backyard anyway. I also agreed to pay her 50% of the cleaning fee ($ 225) through PayPal as she requested.
When it came to paying the rest of the charge, Kau’i sent me an invoice for the full $ 450 again through PayPal with a note that I had already paid $ 225. She asked that I pay via «friends and family». I rarely use PayPal, but okay, when that option comes up, that’s what I’ll do. Long story short, that «friends and family» thing never did show up as an option and since the invoice was for $ 450, that is what PayPal sent her, so I ended up sending her the full $ 450 on top of the $ 225. She sent me back $ 215 instead of the $ 225 saying that she was taxed so she would only refund me the $ 215. I noted that when I return something to Home Depot, I get back the entire amount I paid; they don’t take out taxes, so please return the $ 225 I sent. She agreed to return another $ 10 but just before she hung up I distinctly heard her say «Bitch». Really? I’m a bitch?
I still didn’t get the entire $ 225 back since there are fees or something or other that PayPal charges. Lesson learned. Don’t use PayPal for this kind of transaction.

Highly recommended! I was frantically in search of a cleaner for a property my boss was planning on selling, and Kaui was the only one who returned my call. More importantly, she was willing to come out the next day. Her crew did an amazing job! The house was unrecognizable after they were finished. They did everything — cleaning, carpets, pet treatment, and windows. We will definitely be calling Kaui again for future jobs!

I highly recommend Kaui and her crew. Everyone was pleasant, professional and actually fun to have around. I will certainly be using them again. This time was a major move out job. Cleaning, carpets and windows.

I called around trying to get cleaning move out quotes and Kauai was the only one who came out to do one in person. She was so nice and professional but the cleaning crew really did a great job. They got there 2 hours early to make sure they could do a great job. I forgot to ask for an itemized invoice so we could show our landlord what the clean included, and she was kind enough to send it to me within the hour. She made the move out cleaning easy and a breeze. I would highly recommend her and her crew. Ty!!!

I just had Kaui kleaners clean my 4bedroom house for the first time. I am beyond satisfied. Her crew is awesome!!! I am definitely sold and will be using her services on a regular basis. I am a clean freak and they met beyond my expectations. Thank you Kaui and crew!

Because she advertises being on Angie’s list thought i would give her a try. Not very reliable. Crew is very friendly, but expected more. Set an appointment, but came late, did not do what was suppose to, had to come back after I called. Gave her a second chance and scheduled another cleaning. Never showed up, did not even call.

Kaui’s crew was a blessing to have. A very down to earth family with an exceptional work ethic.
Every person on the five man team that tackled the monstrous mess left behind to me by the other tenants did what they do best, even though it was from super late on a Friday night! Typically, people call it a day when the sun goes down, but they persisted and didn’t stop until they knew that house was saved.
Their attitudes were pleasant and although there was quite a number done to the house, it was left spotless when they completed it.
Absolutely worth your money and time. These guys deserve it.

Wish there was a 0 star rating I could give these people. The owner, Kaui is one of the most rude, unprofessional, lazy, people I’ve ever met. We had a a very small and simple (but incredibly overpriced) job for her and her team. She’d come by a few days earlier and said it would be a very easy job as it was tiny and not very dirty. On the scheduled day of the cleaning, her team refused to clean because we still had our luggage and sleeping bags in the apartment after the movers had moved about 99% of our things — they said they preferred to come back the following morning after we had found someplace to stuff all of our possessions while they cleaned, at which point they stated again that it would be a very simple easy job that they’d have complete in no time. The three person team (the older female was loud and obnoxious, though the younger lady and gentleman were more or less polite) had me speak to their boss, owner Kaui, on there phone who told me «it’s the end of the day, they just want to go home early,» so we rescheduled for the following morning to appease them. On the morning, the team showed up again, this time about 45 minutes late, and told me that they should be finished in about an hour. I left them to it and returned two hours later with my property manager to complete the walk through. They said they were still working and needed a few more minutes, so I was forced to ask my pm to meet me in another 45 minutes. This inconvenienced both of us, but we had no choice. When we came back, they informed us they were finished and said goodbye. The property manager shook his head the whole walk through and told me that I really should get my money back or have them re-​clean the condo, as it was so poorly done. They did not clean any walls, did not clean window sills, sweep the patio, clean closets, etc. The PM stated that he would have to hire a «real» cleaning crew to come and correct all of their shoddy work, which would also be coming out of my security deposit. As we were leaving, we saw Kaui pull up in her big truck and stopped her to let her know that the job was not complete. She immediately flew off the handle blaming everybody else under the sun. Not her responsibility, and she refused to clean or reclean the parts that were left undone. After pleading with her to actually come inside to look at the horrible job she and her crew did, she came upstairs with us and acknowledged that her crew left several areas untouched, but still refused to address them properly. Kaui insulted us over and over and was completely rude and unprofessional. No deposit back and nothing done about the laughable half ass job… just a shrug while blaming and insulting the customer and PM. Could not believe the lack of professionalism… should have paid more attention to the negative reviews left on this site. I wouldn’t doubt for a second that the vast majority of the positive ones are left by Kaui’s friends and family… What a horrible experience.

Stay away from Kaui Cleaners. If I could give a –5 star I would. Please save your money and take your business somewhere else. Kaui charged me $ 375 to clean a 400 sqft condo and I still didn’t get my deposit back from my landlord. The fans, walls, and doors were not cleaned at all. Kaui checked out the unit a week earlier to give an estimate and didn’t tell us that she required the unit to be completely emptied prior to cleaning it. She was unprofessional and rude when we told her what the property manager had said about the cleanliness of the unit. She also had blamed us for hiding the dirty walls when she checked out the unit a week earlier for the estimate. We wouldn’t hide anything as we wanted to get this done right in order to get our deposit back. Plus, we only had the bed, TV, and boxes in the unit when she checked it out and thought she knew what she was doing before making an estimate. Yes, the place was a little dirty, but that is why I was willing to pay $ 375 to get such a small place cleaned. There are other places out there with better service and cheaper prices. I couldn’t believe how badly we were treated by Kaui.

Great service! Kaui and her team took my service on short notice just prior to the 4^th of July weekend. They were professional and very organized. They cleaned my 3 bedroom 3 full bath home thoroughly. During my clearing inspection, the property manager said that it was one of the best cleanings he has walked through. Needless to say, I was refunded my total deposit! Great work, highly recommend.

AWESOME! Job well done.
Had Kaui’s come and do a whole house cleaning for my very first time and was very impressed. Don’t tell mom.
She came a couple days before to give me a quote for my four bedroom, three full bath, large closed in patio, newly renovated kitchen & appliances, and even clean my open beam living & dining room chandelier & ceiling fan. I also asked about my windows, she said no problem and ask if I wanted them to fold the cloths in laundry room too.
By just watching her go through my whole house looking & touching things as well as explaining what they can do I was very existed to get it done.
It wasn’t till a day after job we got to see what was done, the bathrooms were spotless, bedrooms carpet was fully and everything was dusted, wiped down & straightened up including dinning & living room. Kitchen counter was polished, cabinets was wiped down from top to bottom including all appliances.
I’d recommend Kaui’s Kleaners to any local and other families who never tried but always wanted to have a maid service or I’d call it da cleaners, come and do it for you.

Kaui and team did a fantastic job. I’m a busy single mother with no time to clean. Kaui and 2 others (1 person was sick) came and they did my spring cleaning. Initially wanted to have them clean EVERYTHING including my windows and carpet, but because one person was sick, we schedule the windows and carpet during the following week. They did a terrific job and very trustworthy. Thanks Kaui… plan on using them to clean my house monthly.

We still don’t have are deposit & it’s April 7^th? Like I posted before they are too busy
for new clients– guess that’s good for their business

AWESOME House Move Out Cleaning
I hired Kaui to clean my 4 bdrm 2.5 bath house… im not the cleanest person, but Kaui and her team got all the crud out… I’m very satisfied and happy on how clean the house turned out… Kaui and her Team did an AWESOME JOB… i recommend her anytime and I will use her again when the time comes.

Epic Apartment Move-​Out Cleaning!
We hired Kaui to clean our apartment before the final move-​out inspection. Landlords are notorious for finding small defects and not returning security deposits. With hundreds of dollars on the line I wasn’t about to mess around cleaning the place myself.
Kaui arrived with a big truck and 5 people. They came through like a SWAT team and got the whole apartment done in 3 hours.
It’s now cleaner than when the building was built. It’s SPOTLESS!!!
Kaui’s team does cleaning all over the island. She claims to have gone to bay for several tenants in the past to help get security deposits back from unscrupulous landlords. I’m sure with this good of a cleaning job there is no way well need to argue with our property manager about the deposit.
Overall, awesome!

Kaui and her team have been cleaning our house for about 9 months now. I initially hired her for a deep clean, which included cleaning all of our windows. I continue to have them clean about every 3 weeks.
Kaui is very trustworthy, reliable and accommodating. She is fully insured. I typically have her and her team clean while I am not home (so I am not in the way) and I have not had any problems.
The price is fair and I have been very pleased with the results.
