Holomua Elementary School

I am very disappointed. I’ve heard so much good things about this school. First of all, there’s absolutely no parking, second their staff in the school are not friendly, third my child spends more time at home then at school due to its a track school. I will be looking at other schools for my child that offer more help. She has been struggling with Math, but this school does not offer anything to help any student here succed.

This school is one of the best on island!
Friendly teacher and staff, clean and well maintained campus, and overall just an awesome school! Track school year round is such a fantastic idea and it worked really well for us!
The only reason we aren’t there anymore is because our son was a little too advanced:) Ms. Matias (kindergarten) and Ms. Garcia (1^st grade) were both fantastic

My son started Kinder here, I absolutely miss this school! We are now living in Pearl City and I’m not so pleased with the school he now attends! One if the biggest things I LOVE about Holomua is the family functions!!! My husband and I work day shifts and it’s nice that we were able to attend school functions to support not only our child, but his classmates! Mrs. Yaqui was his teacher and I appreciated her communications skills! She was always willing and able to assist her students whenever and however she could. There is a certain cohesiveness Holomua has among their staff that truly makes this school shine. I am currently searching for an apartment in the Holomua area so that my son can return to this school!

Great School & Great Teachers! Principal Yasui is awesome! My kids have been going there since kindergarten and they love it :)
