Ewa Plains Enrichment Program

We found Ewa Literacy Program back in 2010 when we were looking for a preschool for my older son. Ewa Literacy came highly recommended from a really close friend of ours. So I made the call and got all of the appropriate documents needed to send our son there. Thinking back that was the best decision we made. By the time he graduated and leaving for Kindergarten he could read, write his name and much, much more. He even made it to the final testing at Kamehameha school 120 out of 900 kids. With such a good experience we then sent our younger son there in 2011without any hesitation. He also made it to the final testing at Kamehameha school. We love that school so much that till this day we still go back and help. My oldest daughter is a sophmore in highschool and Jessica is her mentor while she sets her sights on a degree for early childhood education or special education. I highly recommend Ewa literacy for all families with young children!

I believe that a good foundation built in early age is important for my kids to be confident and self sufficient later in life. My kids’ days are filled with many activities that stimulate their interest in different subjects and influence them to become well-​rounded and contributing citizens. However, there is a limit on how much I can personally teach them and I wanted them to be exposed to things that I didn’t know of. So they have a chance to be more knowledgeable and better than me.
Whether it is for preschool or full time childcare, we pay about the same amount ($ 800/​month, or approx. $ 30/​day, $ 4/​hour.) Sending my child to a good preschool where he can be exposed to many aspects of science, math, language, health, spiritual, physical, and social skills was much more economical and structured than I have to personally take him here and there.
Ewa Plains Enrichment School has just what I’m looking for and my child is excited about going to school every morning. He has become very articulate and detailed in his verbal and physical expressions as well as calm and mature in decision making. He is able to hold intelligent conversations with people twice or more of his age, lead and play fairly in the playground with younger kids, as well as doing homework independently and finding learning activities on his own.
I don’t know of all the details they do at Ewa Plains Enrichment School, but I feel good vibes there and its always welcoming. As people like to be associated with like minded people, I feel comfortable having my child at the school for the majority of his day.

My daughter has been blessed to attend Ewa Plains Preschool. I have older children who have attended preschools but this, the literacy program, has far exceeded the preschools my elder children have attended. The staff are exceptional, for example, by not only helping my daughter with the basics of hand washing and learning social skills, but also by involving parents with requesting nutritionally balanced lunches and snacks for their children and humbly inviting accountability at home to reinforce lessons taught at school. I feel confident when I drop off my daughter in the morning that she is not merely watched, but is encouraged to learn at her pace the fundamentals of reading and comprehension, writing, counting, geography and much more. I am certain, when she enters Kindergarten she will excel, if not need to be challenged because of the wealth of knowledge she learned at Ewa Plains Preschool… AND SHE STILL HAS FUN THERE!!!

My 5 y/​o daughter has attended this school since July 2014 & she absolutely loves it. She has accomplished so much in her year here & is excited to take everything she has learned to Kindergarten next month. The staff is truly amazing, they make you feel like you are a part of their family! They present you with numerous updates on your child’s progress throughout the year & make every attempt to include family and friends as much as they can… We will definitely miss the school and their awesome staff. I will for sure send my youngest here when she is old enough!

My daughter has attended this school since April 2013 and she loves it. I love the small size. It makes the school feel more like a family. The teachers are great with the kids and they have high expectations when it comes to Literacy which is why my daughter will be entering Kindergarten next year as a reader and writer.
I also love the fact that the teachers also focus on morals using Christian teaching. My daughter has a greater love for GOD and all of his creations. We will truly miss this school and the teachers when my daughter graduates this July.
