Nellybelle General Store

If I could live inside a store, I’d choose Nellybelle.
Let’s be honest – it’s a terrible location. You have to know where you’re going to head here, but once you’ve found it, you’ve made it.
Whoever does the buying for this shop has amazing taste. I guess technically this place is a florist, but there are lots of live plants and gifts for sale as well. There was nothing in this store that didn’t completely jive with my taste. The owner has kindly labeled a few things as NFS, which is totally fair. I wouldn’t want to part with that cool stuff either.
I came in here to do Christmas shopping for a guy. A guy’s guy. There was more than enough here to stuff his stocking, and I left with some stuff for me as well. I even bought a planter and some succulents – the woman working, who I think was the owner, offered to pot them up for me. I took her up on it, and it was the most loving, thoughtful job of potting a plant I’ve ever seen. I would have been much harder on those poor little plants.
This is a very cool operation, things are reasonably priced, and I am looking forward to my next opportunity to shop for somebody. I’ll be comin’ right back.

Nellybelle is tucked away in a little strip mall in Evergreen, but it is definitely worth seeking out. Although, it is categorized as a florist (and yes, she has lovely flowers!) there is so much more. What a great selection of locally made products — as aesthetically pleasing as they are high quality. Helliemae’s caramels, RedCamper jams… she has all my favorite indie Colorado stuff. The store is cool and eclectically styled. You better check it out.

I’ve been going to Nellybelle for gifts ever since they opened. They carry really unique one-​of-​a-​kind items… a lot of stuff from Etsy. The store itself is beautiful. They carry jewelry, soaps, lotions, candles, «guy stuff» — whiskey rocks, flasks, etc…
They also do flowers. This is not your standard «grandma ftd bouquet». No baby’s breath there! Leezl and crew are very creative with their arrangements. She also has a lot of succulent and air plants. There’s a create your own terrarium bar too.

This is the place for unique flower arrangements and prom wrist corsages. I love Leezl and she is always excited about her flower designs. She also told me to always cut the ends of the flowers as soon as I get home and it makes the bouquet last longer. Many of the flowers are unique not sold in the bouquets at Safeway. It makes you think expensive right– well I go in and tell what I am looking to spend and I get a creative, beautiful bouquet for $ 20-​$ 25. Will Nellybelle market to our husbands please?
Last year she made a wrist corsage for prom and this year she will be making another one. They really help and get creative to make a floral design you will love.
I enjoy seeing her flower arrangements around town in local businesses. Nellybelle is making Evergreen beautiful full of fresh flowers.
Not only does Nellybelle sell flowers but cute gifts too. I love the bubble baths, soaps and lotions. The candles are awesome like Balsam & Cedar and Mulled Spice. Try the balsalmic vinegarette– it’s thick and perfect for tomatoes and mozzarella. I also like the flavored olive oils she brought in from the Olive Oil Pantry.

If you’re looking for a cool fun store in the beautiful town of Evergreen, Colorado, then look no further. It is filled with wonderful flowers and plants, as well as cool funky old stuff, (which I love.) The owner is very hospitable and will help you with making awesome one of a kind planters. This store is unique and well worth the visit.
