I came into Health and Harmony Chiropractic a couple of months ago with severe lower back pain that was radiating into my legs. After doing his due diligence and ensuring he understood the situation completely, Dr. Steinle began a course of treatment for me that has made a night-​and-​day difference. At the start, I struggled to even walk without severe pain and restriction of movement; three weeks into treatment, I went to Nepal for three weeks to shoot photographs and work on films on earthquake recovery and also remote, cliffside archaeology. Thanks to Dr. Steinle and his awesome staff, it was no problem at all — I was free of pain, motion was normal, and all systems were a go. We’ve continued treatment and adjustments since, and things have only improved even more. As a professional climber, guide, photographer, and filmmaker in the high mountains, it’s essential that my body be able to perform day after day, for months at a time, in tough conditions, carrying heavy loads, etc. Dr. Steinle has enabled me to continue my line of work — something that was not possible just a handful of weeks ago. All that, and he’s a great guy to boot!

I’ve been seeing Dr. Steinle since May 2014. He was recommended to me by a neighbor heavy into crossfit. I’ve had back and neck issues since 1989 due to an auto accident (and an active youth). Since then, I’ve sporadically seen various chiropractors (as I’ve moved around) with decent results yet the pain always returned. What I found in common is that they would all adjust me, followed by some level of automated therapy (heat, electric pulses, vibration, massages, etc.) and send me out the door until the next appt.
I found the fact that Dr. Steinle didn’t want to touch me until I had xrays refreshing. I did not have an issue with this at all as I completely understand the point of not making adjustments until you understand the problem areas first. This indicated to me that here were specifics to the treatment, not just «adjustments».
I really liked Dr. Steinle’s bedside manner and the fact that he went over my xrays with me in very thorough terms with a plan to correct them. In the 25 years I’ve tolerated my back pain, not 1 single chiropractor has taken the time do do that and actually analyze my condition. I’m not getting any younger and the pain was getting more consistent and intense so it was worth the gamble to me.
So after 5 months of treatments, I was much better and now after a year+, the «regular» bouts with back pain that I used to get are gone. I have been diligent in the assigned stretches and «homework» along with making each of my appointments and none of this happened overnight but the effort was worth the better quality of life.
The last 3 favorable points I’ll make are this; Dr. Steinle, Jeanine and Amy are ALWAYS in great moods and a joy to visit, I don’t think I’ve ever waited more than 5 minutes on an appt, and the office is always calming and clean.
