SInce 1984 D&J Towing & Recovery has been providing roadside assistance, towing and recovery, emergency roadside accident assistance to Evergreen, Genesee, Bergan Park, Kitteredge, Aspen Park, Idledale and Conifer areas. Family owned and operated we have 10 trucks to serve your needs.

We understand unfortunate circumstances happen and the need for a towing service, like all auto related problems, are inconvenient and untimely. We sympathize with the needs of people having auto issues and are competitive in our pricing. Our goal is to better your difficult experience by offering shorter wait times than other companies. We provide expert assistance in getting your car on the road sooner by trying to diagnose simple problems like a dead battery or blown fuse. If we can get you back on the road rather than tow you, our company will.

Brady and Carrie Lovingier are native to Evergreen, Conifer and Black Hawk. Carrie came from real estate and Brady was in Emergency response services for 22 years. We appreciate the mountain community and love the ability to know and help people on a personal level. We were excited about the opportunity to buy a local business that our entire family could be involved in and where we could help the community and its visitors.

I was in a terrible situation that I was not sure I was going to get out of. I dreaded trying to find a way for my car to get free of the long hill of snow that it was stuck at the bottom of. After discussing the situation with D & J Towing they felt confident they could help. They already had a driver coming for someone else in route that graciously stopped by to asses my situation. He quickly called and got another driver on his way with the right type of truck to get me out. Driver number 2 just as friendly, patient and helpful as the first guy spent time getting my car out of a tight steep snowy spot. I highly recommend this professional towing company. I was pleased with everyone from the personnel I talked to on the phone, the text updates, and the fantastic driver that helped me.

Very nice and professional… Towing is always expensive but they worked with me after I explained my situation. I wasn’t going to post anything until I read the other post from other customers and felt I had to. I’m a very literal person and I this is not the first time I have needed a tow the first company (not this company) I had my car towed through was my fist accident and they towed me home I didn’t have the cash to pay on me but told them the money was in the house the driver told me I had 2 minutes to get him the cash or he was taking my car the impound lot. I wonder if people skip on the bill a lot but I think this was uncalled for in my book. But D&J worked with me every step of the way I think I called them everyday just to make sure I was still in the loop. They also told me if my insurance had towing road side part of my bill would be reimbursed and it was not all of it but part of it just the towing not the storage or fees but hay some is better than none. When it was all said and done yes it was expensive but so is a lot of things, and they explained why they had to charge what they did and I was confident that they were not taking advantage of me. And just to make sure what they told me was true I called around and found they were the least expensive in town, I also researched tow trucks and how expensive it is to operate one. So thank you D&J I’m glad it’s not my job lol but glad you all have decided to take on the task.

I don’t have a lot of high expectations for the ethical practices of towing companies, but this one is at the bottom of the barrel. Just another cog in the wheel, capitalizing on people’s misfortune. Even to the point of charging 2.25% on credit card transactions! As a small business owner, I find their business practices sleezy and unethical. A non-stop Unilocaling Dashund behind a closed glass door creates the ambiance and adds to the classy warning sign hung on the counter: «I can only please one person a day. Today isn’t your day. Tomorrow doesn’t look good either.» I highly doubt they’re capable of pleasing anyone, on any day.
Here’s an example of their extortion:
$ 125 call charge
$ 6/mile
$ 30/day storage — regardless if the registered owner is physically unable to pick it up.
I hope you will never find yourself in need of their services.

On the way to Steamboat on my birthday, my Jetta overheated at Lookout Mountain. Unhappy birthday to me. But wait, I called AAA and Taylor with D & J Towing very quickly came to our rescue. AAA had told us someone would come within 90 minutes and Taylor showed up in less than 10. He expertly got my car on the tow truck and was pleasant company on the way back to my mechanic in Littleton. He even swung by my house so my friend could pick up her car to get us to Steamboat. He made what could have been an awful experience into just a delay. And definitely helped save my mood so the celebrations could commence once we finally arrived in Steamboat. With AAA I didn’t really get a choice of towing company, but if you do D & J is a great choice and maybe you’ll be lucky enough to get Taylor as your tow truck operator.
