Where do I start? Called to drop off my car for brakes & an oil change & got my car back the next day! Reasonably priced & great super fast service what else is there to say? Car is running & stopping great again guys thanks for the fast great service! I will definitely be servicing my Bmw at this place from here on great alternative to other long waiting high priced places with bad service like perillo which is the absolute worst! Thanks to a good friends recommendation I found a new place to service my BMW!

Have been patronizing them for years & will continue to. I find them to be honest. When I owned a 1988MB260E that had an oil leak they told me it was an expensive repair that I didn’t need to make as long as I monitored the oil level. Needless to say I drove that car for years afterward.

I brought in my 2010 Volkswagen CC Sport. My «Service Now» light was on. I found European Cars of Evergreen Park to be clean and the owner to be honest. I was very comfortable. All I needed was an oil change but plan to take my car here is I have any mechanical problems in the future!

Anyone who owns a post-1985 German car knows how expensive they can be to keep on the road, particularly luxury models like BMW and Mercedes with their complex electronics. It’s also very difficult to find a competent mechanic who can work on these vehicles without draining your bank account by throwing parts at problems they do not understand. Fortunately, there’s European Cars of Evergreen Park. They are very experienced with all types of European cars. Unless you have a very obscure model like a Porsche 959 or something, odds are that they’ve seen your problem before and will fix it right. I’d argue that their broad experience makes them better than the dealership service technicians(I don’t even call them mechanics), who are used to simply plugging cars into diagnostic computers and replacing parts. Dealers do that well enough but when it comes to older models, like an E30BMW3-series for example, their techs tend to be pretty clueless, and will often make the wrong repair, in my experience. EC’s prices are very reasonable. They were about 50% lower than the dealer on two separate occasions(see my review of Mercedes of Westmont). And they will use quality remanufactured parts where appropriate and where it can save money. That’s something the dealer will not do. They will use new parts at full list price. EC’s work, in my experience, is excellent. Their staff, particularly Bruno, come across as though they truly care about their customers, and want to make the correct repairs for the lowest possible prices. About the only downside is convenience. They’re located on the far south side of the City(98th and Kedzie), which may be a problem for those who don’t live in that area and work downtown. It’s also strictly«first come first serve,» so you need to get there as early as possible. The place is justifiably popular and older German cars are notoriously cranky. So put the two together and, well, you understand why it tends to get crowded, particularly during the winter months. Regardless, they will endeavor to get to your vehicle quickly. They only took one day to replace my radiator, do my brakes, and change my transmission fluid, even though they had to order parts. Plus, given that their prices are so much lower than the dealership, I’m more than willing to put up with some measure of inconvenience. Overall, a great shop! I definitely recommend it.
