Windermere Property Management

Apparently when dealing with or trying to deal with the rental or any department in this particular branch, they believe strongly in not returning emails or phone calls. So don’t keep your hopes up of trying to find a home with this Windermere branch. Thanks for nothing. All I wanted was a few details and to view a house. Glad that you can’t even return one phone call.

Do not use this company for property management!
In the time we have been with Windermere we have had 5 different managers. Each one has proven to be inexperienced and unreliable.
Trust the reviews! In reading through them I can relate to almost every negative situation other associations have experienced.

If your looking for property management for condos/​townhomes run away! This company does rental property management, but also condo/​town home property management (home owners associations).
In less then a year we have gone through 2 different managers, every time one leaves we have to start over — meaning we have to start from the bottom and explain whats going on in the community/​what needs to be done/​basically start from scratch.
This company is ran terribly, the manager is hiring constantly because they cant keep employees for more then 6 months.
Run dont walk, trust me. I am a patient guy and this company is probably one of the worst i have delt with. There are a ton of other property management companys in snohomish county, GO WITH SOMEONE ELSE!!!

It always stymies me when I see rabid inconsistency with a business, or when others have experienced encounters vastly different from my own. My relationship with Windermere was nothing but fantastic from beginning to end. Phone calls and e-​mails were returned in a timely manner, the one maintenance request I had was handled in a matter of days and all interactions with Windermere employees were above my expectations (well, maybe not the gal who initially had to show me the apartment — but that’s another story). The property owner recently chose a new management company and I was sincerely bummed when I heard the news.

WORST property management company!!! They do not fix repairs in a timely manner, do not fix things that are broken and then take it out of your deposit when you move out. The lawn mower that was given to us to mow the grass stopped working and they did not provide another one. When we did not mow the grass because it was broken, they threatened to evict us for not taking care of the grass. They nickel and dime you when you move out and take all your deposit so dont worry– $ 3000 gone. Dont expect to get your money back. They are money hungry.

Until recently we were renters under this property management company. They rarely returned our calls and accrued for us a large utility bill (in excess of $ 1,000) due to their accounting error. They pay no attention to our account and did not listen to us when we asked for help (repeatedly).

We have rented for 3 years with Windermere and are purely disgusted at how we were treated. During our time with them, we had 3 different property managers. The first was lazy and didn’t want to fix (or address) and issues with the house. The second was only there a short time and couldn’t do something as easy as changing our mailing address. The third, and worst of all, refused to fix anything broken. Plus, she decided to talk about our personal rental business with other tenants living near by and bad mouth us. After moving out, I contacted their «Operations Manager» Brinda and have never heard back. The are not only unprofessional, they also manage their properties in an illegal way. DO NOT RENT FROM THEM!
