History

Established in 2006.

Turn Key Auto Services opened in June of 2006 with the goal of providing excellent customer service along with accurate diagnoses and repair. Our employees have been working on BMW, MINI, Toyota, Mercedes-​Benz, Volvo and other foreign and domestic cars for over 75 years of combined experience. We have made significant investment in factory diagnostic equipment, software and hardware in order to provide quality and accurate repairs for your vehicle.

Because of our reputation for quality work and attention to detail, Turn Key Auto Service is the premier independent BMW, Mercedes-​Benz, MINI, Volvo and Toyota repair shop in the Snohomish County area. Conveniently located on the corner of Airport Road and 112th Street SW, our shop is close to Boeing’s Everett Plant and easy to get to. Pat has worked in the auto maintenance and repair business for over 30 years. With technical expertise in Toyota, Volvo and other European models, opening Turn Key Auto Service was a logical move. Pat’s attention to detail and outstanding customer service is apparent in his business and carried through by all of the staff at Turn Key Auto. Every member of the staff at Turn Key Auto are experts in their field, combined with factory computerized diagnostics for BMW, Mercedes– Benz, Mini, Scion, Lexus, Toyota and Volvo, our customers receive world class service.

I purchased an older Volvo Cross country and after researching mechanics in the area, chose Turn Key. I had several issues addressed and fixed including a new ignition and I was very happy with everything they did. They’re always available, helpful and they kept me up to date on all repairs as they were being done. Their customer service is A+ as is their work.

Went there for software update. First attempt didn’t work as hoped for basing on service bulletin from BMW. But the technician had an idea. Reset the adaptive thing of the computer that learns your driving style and bam… Problem gone. I was told to observe if it comes back in a few days and they’ll check back with me. I’m surprised they’re not charging me for updates and that is just really good customer care on the part of Craig. Kudos to their BMW guy Lindsay. He is good at what he does and knows what to do. Amazing!

I have finally found a place to service my Volvo that does not cost me an arm and a leg!!! I highly recommend this place. Everyone is so nice and professional and they do not nickle and dime you for every little thing. I had my wheel bearing done and there were a few minor things that were bothering me (cup holder would not stay closed, third seat headrest would not go down) which they fixed and did not charge me. I will definitely be returning.

I had two cars suffer catastrophic failures on me with in a month. I took them to turn key they looked at them and we decided that repairs weren’t going to make sense and they were to be totaled.
They didn’t charge me for the labor to diagnose the vehicles. They also let me keep the vehicles in their yard for over a month till they could be towed away. I was down and having a rough patch and they helped me out. More importantly I was transitioning to brand of cars that they don’t specialize in. Did they try to squeeze every little penny they could out of me on my way out the door. NO, they were true neighbors and kind people who let me work through the problems I was having. They always would pick up the phone when I called and were always keen to help.
This team is beyond great. Take your vehicles to them. If they cant fix it they will help you through the process.
Amazing folks, all of them. Example of integrity, generosity and community spirit.

I just recently bought a used car 1996 Volvo 850R best experience I have ever had buying a used car period. Excellent service and very straight honest evaluation of the car they were selling, also my wife had a 90 thousand mile check up on her 2003 Toyota Rav4 at a very reasonable price service was excellent too, thanks for your service and look forward to maintaining our cars at Turn Key Auto Service.

This is a first rate repair facility. I took my car in to replace a power window motor one morning. They called me an hour later to inform me it would take two hours to get the necessary part, then they’ll get on it. By noon, they called me back to say it was finished. I was astonished how fast they completed it, even though it took two extra hours to retrieve the necessary part. Not only that, but they performed quality work and did it for less than what my dealership quoted me for. Definitely give these guys a shot, especially if you own a Toyota or other Japanese automobile.

Our go to auto guy didn’t have the right machines to check my wife’s suburban so they brought it to turn key. We called 2 times and they said that they couldn’t duplicate hard start issue and said we could come pick it up. Went to pick it up and found that it had been parked in the eastern most part of the parking lot away from the more expensive cars that were waiting to be worked on. Even better, while it was there it had been broken into and stole the stereo system worth about $ 400. There awesome (not) customer service response was that they didn’t think there was a stereo in there to begin with. Will NEVER recommend this place to anyone and can’t wait for it to close it’s doors!

Can’t say enough good things about the service I received here. I brought in my Volvo for a sensor reading Transmission Service Urgent. We thought for sure we needed a new tranny, costing over $ 5k. They did all the diagnostics and even took it out to feel how she was driving. They suggested a flush out etc, costing way less. She is now purring like a champ! The manager, Craig was always calling with updates and very professional and nice. Thank you to everyone including the awesome mechanics!
I will go here again in the future, hoping not too soon though.

So, my wife’s car failed the emissions test (stupid car). Blah blah blah, my regular mechanic is not AES certified, and he recommended this place. I trust his judgment, so I gave this place a shot.
I called late one afternoon, and they got me in the next morning. By 10am that day, they had called me back with having identified the issue and recommending a couple fixes. The prices were very reasonable, and they were able to get things done that day. Awesome.
One thing I really appreciated is that they went out of their way to save me time. They purposely had me fail the second emissions test so that I could register the car sooner (you can get a waiver to register your car if you’ve spent at least $ 150 on repairs, which I had). Once I failed the test, they cleared the fault codes in the engine so that I could drive normally.
All in all, great mechanic and I’d happily bring my car back here again. Oh, and they had a check-​in offer on Unilocal,so I got 15% off the repairs. Score!

Turn Key is the best auto repair that I have found. I got a quote from Les Schwab and It was just ridiculously high, $ 1600.00 I went to Turn Key to have them give me a quote. I dropped my car off and they drove me back to work. I got a call later in the day and they told me that there was nothing wrong with my brakes or my struts ! They didn’t even charge me to look at my car. I am now a faithful customer ! Thanks Pat !!

We took a wholesale vehicle in for a diagnostic and was charged an outrageous amount for them to look at the car, tell us the same exact thing that we already knew. They pretty much looked at our car for 10 minutes at the most and handed it back to tell us that they had no idea what was wrong with it. They did however know how to write up the invoice and charge almost $ 100.00 for 10 min of work. Thiefs!!! No, thanks. We won’t be back!

I’ve been taking my Toyota truck here, as well as my wife’s Lexus. Always happy with the service and prices. I recently referred my mom here as well, as she drives an older Camry and had some car troubles, which ended up needing the car towed. She was expecting to pay around 800 for a new distributor assembly, however the bill was 200 after they repaired a wire and saved replacement of the whole part. This prompted me to write this review and recommend them to anyone looking for an honest shop.

These guys are Awesome! The mechanic owns two older model Volvo’s one of which is a 240 that he is rebuilding from the ground up. They explain everything in detail and love Volvo’s! I found the prices very fair and they kept me informed of how everything was going with the car and showed me my old car parts afterwards. I found the guys to be very honest and straightforward and aren’t to busy to address any questions you might have.
They have done wonders for my 1983 240 that had been neglected for years by previous owners. These guys are my Volvo’s new best friend!
