I had a great experiment here with the staff! They work really well as a team and its family owned. I went because they had a designer that I really liked but they have a lot of great dresses there. Go with an open mind — the staff there really know there dresses and were great about bringing other dresses that had combos of elements of things that I liked from all the dresses that I tried in that weren’t «the one». I did end up finding my dress there and it was the first shop I went to! Highly recommended!

I bought a bridesmaid dress from a national dress retailer back in May, and the dress arrived about a month later. I knew that I needed it altered to bring the hem of the dress up, but I put the dress in my closet and forgot about it until about 2 weeks ago. Seeing as the wedding I will be in is the 2^nd weekend in October, I was tight on time for getting the dress fixed.
I tried contacting a few alteration shops in Seattle where I work, but was told by one they couldn’t accommodate me in such a short amount of time. I didn’t realize Romashka is less than 5 minutes from where I live, so in desperation I sent them an email to book an alteration appointment — but before I did, I asked if I would be able to get my dress done by the first week in October. I was told that it wouldn’t be a problem.
I took my dress in last week, and Maria fitted me, bringing the hemline up to a perfect length. I was told my dress would be ready in a week; I decided to call ahead, just to be sure, and the dress was indeed ready and waiting for me. They did such a wonderful job on the dress, and given that it was a chiffon-​like fabric, I was somewhat concerned about how even the hem would be but Romashka did a stellar job.
The price for the hem was unexpectedly low; when I took the dress in, Maria said that she would have to charge a little more because of two layers of fabric. At that, I was concerned about the number she was about to quote, but it turns our her quote was LESS than I had imagined!
The quality of work coupled with the excellent prices and stellar customer service will see me returning to Romashka should I ever need special occasion alterations again.
In fact, they do bridal gown cleaning & preservation at reasonable pricing, and seeing as I’m coming up on almost 2 years of being married, it’s about time I get my dress taken care of the way it deserves.

The selection was amazing! The people were so accommodating !! The experience was something I will never forget they spent so much time with us and they were so patient, I will recommend this place to anyone I know in the future who is getting married!

After the wedding, I’m really going to miss visiting this place. Mariya and Yuri are amazingly professional when it comes to measuring, taking phone calls, and making appointments. Mariya and Yuri really made me feel like family, and I loved visiting (read: attending appointments) here. Although I did not buy my dress here, Romashka bridal altered my dress, and I couldn’t be happier. Originally, the dress I bought was a size 10… I needed it altered to a size 2. I stayed up late at night several days before the 1^st alteration appointment because was so worried that this would be an impossible alteration, but Mariya assured me that it could be done. It took about 4 – 5 alterations (done in sections: 1^st the top, then the train/​bottom) before I finally got to take the dress home. I love my dress! To be honest, I don’t even think you can tell it was altered.
This is once again, one of the places that I love so much that I really just want to keep to myself. :) However, I’ll stop being selfish and tell you that I highly recommend Romashka
Bridal for your bridal alterations.
Some things to note:
–They DO let you take pictures of the dresses (I believe this is not allowed in most places)
–I don’t remember any appointment reminders, so please make sure you mark it in your calendar. I walked in one day thinking I had an appointment, then was told it was yesterday. Oops. :(
–Will post pictures after the wedding day so that you can see the before and after of the dress.
–When I was looking for dresses (~1−2 years ago), their dress selection didn’t have as great of variety as other places. However, I think it’s a decent amount of dresses if you know what style you are looking for.
–Only one dressing room (though this could have changed since I have last visited a few months ago, and their popularity of their place has skyrocketed since I started visiting them).

This shop is fantastic! Small family run business, I got a great deal on a brand new dress. So much time was spent making sure every detail is perfect. Maria, Yuri, and their Mum have done an awesome job of making me feel beautiful for my big day. they ordered extra lace from my dress and made a custom jacket that is gorgeous! I went to several bridal shops big and small and no one made me feel as comfortable and taken care of as this lovely little shop. I brought my son to several appointments and they always made him feel welcome as well. Sometimes it can be scary bringing a loud little boy into a dress shop, but they went above and beyond in all aspects.

Maria were very helpful with anything I needed. She answered all my questions and more. She asked great questions right when I got there to figure out how to help me best and what I’m looking for. After figuring out the dress, Maria was great at helping talking me through the next steps and how they could help moving forward. We also discussed bridesmaid dresses and she was great explaining details and helping me figure out exactly what I’m looking for. Excited to go back and figure out the rest of the details and get the bridesmaids dresses ordered!

I had nothing but a great experience from this place. Mariya, the manager, is very personable and professional. When there was a mix up, Romashka Bridal was extremely generous with making up to me and keeping my service. I am so happy to have had my wedding dress experience here! Great atmosphere and wonderful service.

I walked in still thinking I wouldn’t be getting a full on wedding dress, but with Mariya’s help I soon found 5+ to try on. It wasn’t until she pulled one special dress that just happened to be the first one that I tried on that made me now love the idea of a dress. She was attentive to my needs as well as other customers, very organized and balanced with her customer service and store. I loved the fact that she contacted me personally in all of our interactions and was able to text or call me. Their store is run by Mariya along with her mother and brother so all of the final fitting was done in house and felt easy and comfortable!
I have recommended this place to many people since my wedding and will continue to. It was wonderful, and I looked fantastic on my wedding day! :)

This was my first stop on my quest to find my wedding dress! I was enticed by the recent reviews and dress selection. Some of their dresses are listed on the Knot app.
If you are someone who has an idea of the style you want, this is a great place. After the introductions, they let you look around and pick the dresses to try on.
Inside the dressing room there are many strapless bras to pick from and a full length mirror. Overall, most of the store is a bit out-​dated in terms of furnishings.
They were very polite and in good spirits, pleasant and charming… the service was really top notch.
Only one star is left off because of the ambience and dress selection. Nothing gave me butterflies or left me speechless.

I came in here for the first time the other day to get a dress altered last minute for New Years. They took me in right away and listened to exactly what I wanted to be done to my dress. A day later it was done and it was PERFECT and they charged me such a great price! I will definitely be coming back here for other alterations.

Two of my sisters married this year and both went to Romashka to have their dresses altered. Both dresses were beautiful. They are fast and precise!!! They take care of you and really do care. Maria WAS AMAZING and her MOTHERS WORK IS BEAUTIFUL!!! Great variety of dresses we purchased all our bridesmaid dresses there (AND I WOULD WEAR MINE AGAIN)

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would! I’m extremely happy that I found Romashka Bridal to do my wedding dress alterations.
Mariya did a phenomenal job from the beginning to end. I fell in love with my wedding dress even more! Mariya was very professional, friendly, open to my opinions and gave her expertise on what she thought would be best. The alterations were quick and appointments were easy to schedule. She was upfront about the costs and felt like there were no gimmicks which I truly appreciated. Every penny was well worth it! I also liked that she was very easy to get ahold of if I had any questions regarding my appointments. My dress was a size 8 and needed to be brought down to a 2, the length was extremely long and I wanted a sweetheart neck. everything I asked for I got!
If you decide to go to Romashka Bridal for any alterations, you will be 100% satisfied!

I went here to have my dress altered. I needed cups put in and my train cut off. I thought I would need to have the breast taken in a bit, but Maria recommended un-​bra which made me look amazing and filled the dress out perfectly without being over-​the-​top.
It was a little pricier than I imagined, but it was worth it because it was perfectly done. ($ 250 to have the train cut off, raw edge tulle dress without any hemming, about $ 25 to have cups put in)

Mariya and her team are amazing! I dropped by in November without an appointment and Mariya was so welcoming and helpful. She was so patient with my mom… pulling dress after dress trying to please my mom.
My dress came in earlier than expected. I had to do three dress fittings and each time, the dress became more and more beautiful.
We asked for Mariya’s advice about accessories. She could’ve told me I needed every piece of jewelry, but she said my hairpiece and earrings will be the right amount of bling for my dress.
My fiancé also brought in his vest for alterations. Mariya took a look and said it won’t look any different if they fix it. That saved us some more money :)

Mariya is phenomenal. I bought my wedding dress here. We bought my bridesmaids dresses here. One of my bridesmaids daughters brought her dress somewhere else but brought her dress here to get it altered. My other bridesmaid just got engaged and she’s buying her dress here.
Is that not a great referral?
If you want a fantastic dress shopping &/​or alterations experience, this is the place to come. Don’t go anywhere else where they «can’t do it, don’t treat you with respect because you’re not a size 6, charge you more money for every alteration because „they“ didn’t do it right» etc.
Come here because Mariya, Ulyana, & Yuri will take superb care of you.
You will not be sorry.
Definitely consider this business if you have an emergency alteration. They are so fast, professional and EXPERT in what they do you’ll be so happy!!!

This bridal store is the best! They are super nice and so helpful. I went in there on 2 different occasions with a large group of people and they accommodated everyone and they let me try on soo many dresses and they were kind the whole time.
Needless to say I bought a BEAUTIFUL dress from them and I am waiting for it to arrive In August!
It’s definitely worth the drive– don’t pass this place up! :)

Romashka’s bridal is the best. They made my bridesmaids dress when my friend got married several years ago. Her dress turned out perfectly and so did all four bridesmaid dresses. We all got many compliments on those dresses.
They have amazing customer service. Each time we came in for a fitting they were friendly, patient and very accommodating. I will definitely use them when I’m in the market for my own wedding dress.

For my wedding last year, I came to Romashka Bridal for help with my alterations for my wedding dress and all 5 of my bridesmaid dresses (which i ordered online).
My wedding dress was a size 11, I needed it to be a size 4! … My dress had beading along the entire upper part of the gown, including some lighter beading along the skirt. There was also a problem with the length of the dress and the sleeves… it was a hot mess. I almost regretted purchasing it, doubtful that any professional would actually be able to fix it to my standard. Not only did Romashka Bridal FIX my dress to perfection. it took them only about a week in a half. (including the bridesmaid dresses) I had SO much work on that thing, they focused on the major parts of the dress during the 1^st fitting and within a couple days I came back for minor touch ups…
I was so impressed with their work. I’ve recommended this place to a couple of my family members since my experience and i HIGHLY recommend them to YOU! They know what they’re doing. For any serious future alterations, I know where to go.

Beautiful wedding dresses, reasonable prices and amazing customer service!
I would encourage every bride to be, to not buy a dress until they have visited and tried on a dress at Romashka Bridal. The dresses they offer are like no other I have ever seen, the quality, the design is what you’d expect to see on celebrities.
Of course if you want a more simple look, they have plenty of selections as well but I was impressed with this bridal store to say the least. Highly recommend it!
Mariya is amazing when it comes to alterations, she did an amazing job on my dress and I would recommend her to anyone in a heartbeat. Yuriy, the manager there, is super friendly, funny and professional. They were a pleasure to work with and were super helpful. I am not sure what I’d do without them!
