We contacted R&R Fence looking for an estimate for a new fence. They made an appointment with us to come out and look. We waited for them to show up and when it had been 15 mins past the appointment time we called to see if they were still coming, they said they got caught up in paperwork and would be there in 10 mins. 15 mins later they finally show up, so 30 mins after the original appt time. We thought, ok, stuff happens, but we had another appt to get to that day so Ryan the owner offered to stay and leave the estimate for us while we were gone. All good. Get home, find the estimate, and it’s a good deal lower than any other estimate so far! So, we try calling, and calling, left a couple messages and didn’t hear back for over a day. Finally hear back, set up another appt so he can answer a few questions. At this point we are ready to pay them to start right away. He shows up (10 mins late) we have a nice chat and we ask if we do part of the work if he can do it for a bit less, he says, sure give me a few mins I’ll rework the estimate and see what we can do. We go inside to wait, then nothing. He just leaves. We try calling, again, leaving messages, and never get a return call. Overall, the level of customer service was terrible, from being late to each appointment and not returning phone calls unless we called several times and then just disappearing on us, we definitely recommend you do NOT waste your time with this company. After checking other online reviews it appears this is their standard practice. In a world where there are so many options, I’d rather pay a bit more and get outstanding customer service and feel confident they will actually show up to do the job.

R&R built my unusual cyclone fence in the alley access 10 years ago. It still works like a charm! I have purchased used fence parts there since then for some of my other properties. They always were friendly, and generous with their time and help.

We hired R&R to build a fence in town, when asked if it was built to code we did not get a return call. Then we noticed the gates were no longer latching and many of the posts were loose. My husband managed to get ahold of Ryan Goulet the owner. He said he would meet us later that day and never called or showed up. Repeated calls have gone unanswered. When I hire a professional company I expect them to do a job to code and get it done correctly. They should have knowledge of the soils and set the posts accordingly. The thin boards are now starting to bow, we have to add another cross board to sturdy this up. We should not have to worry about the gates latching or the boards bowing. We built the fence for the protection and safety of our animals. All the latches are so high, only my tall sons can reach them. We are not happy with his overall service.
