Premier Ballroom

Premier Ballroom is my favorite place to be! The atmosphere is warm and inviting, as well as classy and professional. Nathan and Delayna are amazing instructors and teach great technique while keeping things fun. I have met some of the most wonderful people through dancing at Premier Ballroom, and would encourage anyone to dance there!

Premier Ballroom is simply the BEST dance studio in the Pacific Northwest! Nathan and Delayna are extremely professional and truly care about their students. There is never any high pressure sales pitch or contracts to sign! They listen to your needs and wants as a dancer. Whether you are just there for social reasons or to compete they will work with you to meet your individual needs or goals. They make it a very warm, inviting, comfortable and fun place to come and learn to dance. They have worked extrememly hard to become a very successful dance studio with reasonable rates! Thank you Nathan and Delayna for your dedication and commitment not only to your students but to Ballroom Dancing!

So, when my doctor told me, «Ken. You gotta get some exercise», I knew that «going to the gym» never worked for me. Then I thought of my wife’s interest in learning to dance ‘some day’. I surprised her by finding Premier Ballroom near us in Everett and suggesting that we start dance lessons. Our very first lesson just happened to be Nathan and Delayna’s very first day in their new ballroom on Hewitt Avenue. What a drop-​dead gorgeous place. Overall our experience has been tremendous. Nathan and Delayna are talented, professional, and fun. We’ve always gotten great value for our money and there is never any sales pressure. Just good old fashioned invitation and welcome. One of the things I did not expect when we started was getting to know some of the regulars. Premier Ballroom is a true community in all the best senses of that word. So, whether you have a special event to prepare for, a dance competition coming up, been dancing for years, or, like me, just an old fat guy who needs some exercise, do yourself and your dance partner a favor and call Nathan and Delayna and go tell ‘em what you want to accomplish. They’ll not only listen carefully, but if you stick with it, you’ll get what you ask for and more. These two have the technical and artistic chops to make it all happen — and an incredibly beautiful ballroom to boot. See you on the dance floor.

My wife and I took lessons at Premier for our first dance at our wedding. I’ll start by saying I’m 6’4″ and 240 pounds, and pretty much a total clod. I know nothing about dancing, and never even attended a school dance. Nathan was an awesome instructor, very helpful and willing to work with us even though I had no idea what the hell I was doing. Very patient with us and a really nice guy. At first, I thought the prices were a little steep but looking around it’s pretty much competitive with any other place you’d go to, and they offer specials, so if you follow them on facebook, you can find out what these are. I’d go back someday if I wasn’t scared to death of dancing again… but the dance at the wedding went great and we have Premier Ballroom to thank!

We had a great experience learning a first dance with Delayna at Premier Ballroom. She was friendly and encouraging, jumped right in with our song, and introduced us to simple but impressive steps that were right at our level. At each session (4 total) she taught us just the right number of new things that we could handle practicing until the next session. At our final session, she taught us some great tips that really helped polish up our moves so that we felt confident and prepared. Our guests can’t stop talking about our first dance and how surprised they were by our «performance!» We had a great time, and Delayna was fun and professional through the entire process. The location is great for us, we can’t wait to go back and take some group lessons. I would (and already have!!) recommend Premier Ballroom to any engaged couples… or anyone in the market for dance lessons!
