The food was delivered quickly, the price was right, and the delivery guy was very polite. The food itself is mostly«meh». I was intrigued by the chicken sub with duck sauce, the bread was fluffy and the chicken crispy, but the duck sauce just does not go with it. Too sweet and salty at the same time. It probably would have been great with honey mustard or as a chicken parm. The BF got a buffalo chicken wrap. It was quite sad looking with very little filling and tasted quite bland. We split a whoopie pie and holy moly, that was something special. It tasted like an oreo in cake form. I might order again and in the future stick with regular subs.

My friend, and I just ordered chicken broccoli ziti, and a cheeseburger dinner. Where to begin. The chicken was horrible, making my friend eat around it, I opened my dinner to a clearly once frozen burger topped with slimy bacon, and rotten lettuce. It was to the point that it smelled. Poor ingredients, poor preparation. I hope this saves at least one person from wasting $ 20. Not worth it. Go to your local high school cafeteria, there is probably better food there. Ill be throwing this food away. GROSSSSSSSSSSS

Delicious cheese pizza. Light fluffy crust with a crispy bottom that won’t fall down when you eat it. Sweet tangy sauce. Authentic Italian comes to Everett.

I’ve loved Pizza Joe ever since High School. I mean who didn’t love actually leaving school to be able to go outside and spend $ 2.00 for the best ½ calzone(Pepperoni of course) as you ate it & grease would drip ALL down your arm… It was a great time! So to know when Pizza Joe opened up shop forever ago they became somewhere I would always go(and of course it wasnt the same as in high school) But last night we were looking around Foodler & saw Pizza Joe so I was like, «Hey haven’t ordered in years, lets go there» BF got a Meatball sub that he said was Ok, I got an Italian which had ONEPICKLE on it, Really ONE pickle?! There was meat on it but the ratio to bread was severely lacking… I ordered what I thought were Sweet Potato Fries — but they sent Waffle Seasoned Fries(Again one of the problems with Foodler — if you don’t carry an Item, UPDATEFOODLER) Mom got a Chicken Parm(well that’s what we had to pick on Foodler because Chicken Cutlet wasnt an option — but with instructions asked for no sauce with lettuce & tomato) and surprisingly that was actually correct! Would prob go back, would just order diff items and possibly call as opposed to Foodler because clearly their menu isnt updated… But there is still time for Pizza Joe to get more stars, Updates to come & Hopefully good ones!

I really like the mozzarella sticks especially when they’re fresh… crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside… My family also enjoy their fried dough… Got to get that extra cinnamon on top…

I’ve lived in Everett for about six months now and my fiancé is from the area. So we’ve ordered from Pizza Joe quite often. Their calzones are really yummy and big. We usually get a large chicken parm and a small/medium other one(it varies but we usually get the broccoli and cheese or something else with white sauce/no sauce.). It’s enough for the two of us to eat dinner and he still has leftovers to take to work with him. I am not a huge fan of their pizza. It gives me heartburn. The tomato sauce is a little too acidic for me. I can take it in small doses of a small piece of chicken parm calzone but I don’t order their pizza anymore. That being said — this is my personal opinion. My fiancé has no problems with the taste of their pizza or the sauce. We have only sampled a couple different appetizers and have had no complaints about those. We have only ordered italian subs. I am a creature of habit and I love the italians I get at a pizza place in my hometown of West Roxbury. These are not the same but they are still good! Just not my cup of tea. That being said — if I’m having a craving for one I would probably order it anyways. Their delivery times are awesome and the driver will call you when they’re pulling down the street. especially if you tell them you’re on the third floor. I appreciate it because it gives me time to get downstairs without someone incessantly banging on the door or ringing the bell over and over. We will continue to keep ordering from pizza joe!

I ordered the other night from this place and was nervous given the rating. But I like to try things out for myself. I ordered the broccoli and chicken calzone-medium, a large onion rings and a ham&egg sub. The calzone was quite good. I would give it the 3⁄5 A-OK rating. Seasoned crust. Onion rings were a 5⁄5 As Good As it Gets for pizza places. The batter was wonderful. My ham and egg was on a nice, warm roll and quite tasty. A good 4⁄5. The prices were awesome! The size of the calzone blew me away. For under $ 8 The onion rings were $ 4 and the sandwich was under $ 6. I plan on ordering again tonight.

Granted, I have only ordered from this place once, but I did not have the same experience as the other reviewers… In fact, I got one of the best pizza crusts I’ve had in the Malden/Everett area. I ordered a hand-tossed pizza with olives and mushrooms via Foodler. The pizza came 10 minutes before the quoted time and was still hot(free delivery, btw). The delivery guy was nice to me and even called when he got here, since my doorbell is broken. My only complaint is that the mushrooms were obviously canned, but given the facts that everything else was spot-on and the price was incredible(under $ 14, including a 20% tip), that didn’t bother me. I will be ordering here again because I FINALLY found a place with a chewy crust that I like. It’s lightly crisp on the edges, and when you bite into it it’s nice and chewy(but not so chewy that it gives your jaw a workout!). I also dug that the crust wasn’t so flimsy that all my toppings slide off when I pick up a slice. Bottom line: I’d say my experience was worlds away from the other reviewers. I will be ordering pizza again from here, albeit without mushrooms ;) The price is right, the delivery is free and fast, the delivery guy was courteous, and the pizza was pretty damn good.

NEVERAGAIN!!! waited over an hour for 2 cold subs then the driver brings the wrong order. I call & get a terrible attitude & no apologies. I order the chicken salad sub — it’s a mayonnaise sub with a hint of chicken. It was inedible & I threw it out. Save your money.

Great service — the delivery guy was timely. I didn’t realize deep dish was just thick crust. I thought it was more than that? Sauce was good though. A large salad was pricey, and not large at all! Onion rings were frozen, not fresh.
