After finding this place around 3 months ago, I’ve tried to go for breakfast at least once every two weeks. The food is consistently good and very reasonably priced. Nice atmosphere… a traditional New England breakfast spot with the bar where you can chat with the staff while they keep your cup of coffee full. Cash only but they have an ATM inside if you forget. I’m working my way into becoming a regular so please don’t take my seat!

Great service and great food — cooked the way you like it. My mom ordered eggs over very light which is nearly impossible to get at a restaurant — except here. They were perfect. I ordered an omelette a little wet/loose. Again, perfect. Waiter checked on us right away to make sure everything was how we like it. Coffee was good and hot and kept getting refilled. Great breakfast — can’t wait to go back!

Excellent family breakfast joint with great deals and nice portions. The owners were super friendly and I feel bad i haven’t given this place a try before as I drive by all the time. Sometimes you never know what’s out there until you walk through the door.

date ate there: 7÷227÷14 Food is good. Prices are affordable. Customer service is great. When we sat down to eat we told the server it was our first time there. We ate and waited for the check to arrive… waited some more and waived at the guy kind of to signal him to for check… he waved back as an saying hi. We waited some more. We finally saw a party of 2 walk to the register to pay for their meal. Sooooo we did the same. I wish the guy would of told us we had to pay our meal at the register when we told him it was our first time there. No credit cards accepted, cash only… they have an ATM machine just incase u don’t have cash.

Can’t get an order right, loud obnoxious regulars, and piss poor service. We waited over ten minutes to get our check, the good was wrong, and there was a very loud, very obnoxious regular on the other side of the place that made it almost impossible to hear a conversation with with dining companion over him. You might want to scream and shout about baseball, but I could care less! Ordered eggs scrambled, got over medium, then the waitress doesn’t come back so I can say something until I’ve eaten everything else and my companion was done with her food. Pancakes were lukewarm, toast was cold, hash browns were greasy soggy bits. Would definitely avoid, save yourself the trouble and go to Carols, Dempseys, or Doo Wop for breakfast!

I’ve been to this place numerous times, since my original five-star review. I have to agree with another reviewer that a group of obnoxious, foul-mouthed men seem to be permanently affixed to a table near the window. Don’t they work? I’ve encountered them during my last few visits and their loud, profanity-spewing mouths make it impossible to enjoy my meal and converse with my dining partner(despite sitting on the opposite side of the dining room). Because of this, I think I’ll be avoiding this place for a while. The owner should do himself and his patrons a favor and gives those guys the boot!

Portions are good, home fries were not seasoned and were oily, eggs Benedict was a good size. Only thing that sucked was that I had to leave and come back because they don’t accept card. It is 2014 and I think it’s time to update the system. Having to go .5 miles away for a ATM because you don’t accept cards isn’t cool at all.

Terrific breakfast in a no frills setting. But who needs the frills, anyway? They trade the frills for such great breakfast food! Went here randomly with family and all of us were pleasantly surprised by how tasty the food was. There aren’t too many ways to make bacon, eggs, and pancakes, but whatever they do at Peter’s Sunrise Restaurant, they do it very well. Very pleased. Will return.

I was in town with family and we checked Unilocal for a good breakfast place to hit while driving through Everett. Reviews seemed pretty good so we gave it a chance. We were definitely not disappointed! Extremely reasonable prices with very generous portions! Their house special included 2 large eggs, hash browns, bacon AND sausage AND ham PLUS2 pancakes. I went with the blueberry pancakes and they were amazing. It’s all freshly cooked by 1 cook but also came out surprisingly fast. Highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great local place to enjoy breakfast/brunch!

I love diners, I think thats why I loved living in NYC because there are so many and hey who doesn’t like breakfast anytime of the day. Well good news people you dont need to move to NY. LOVE this place. I always get an eggwhite veggie omlette and its perfection. Go to NY and I guarentee you wil get a burnt omlette. I read all the reviews for this place and I only saw one bad one by some lucky something or other was there name and I would just like to ask what restaurant you were in because I have never once had bad service and bad food, Ya the awning outside might discourage someone from going in and the décor isnt up to date but everything else is fantastic. If your in the mood for a never ending cup of coffee and a smile this is the place.

My favorite breakfast place in Everett. It’s a small, family run café. All of them are really friendly and welcoming! The food there is great, I had the pancakes and thought they were really good and my friends loved the homefries and toast! I have gone back multiple times and can easily say I had the same great experience. I definitely recommend Sunrise Kitchen to anyone who is in the Main Street-Everett area!

While this may not be my favorite breakfast spot in Everett, it certainly offers an extensive menu at reasonable prices. Good coffee, favorable portions, and descent prices keep it on my short list of worthwhile breakfast spots in the area.

This spot had a 5 star rating on Unilocal so I decided to give it a try. When i first drove by, the awning made it look like a laundry place. As i walked in, it had the feel of a diner with Greek paintings and sports photos scattered amongst the walls. Leaving no wall bare. I ordered the Pete’s Omelet, which consists of 3 egg omelet + bacon + sausage + ham, homefries and toast. The omelet was very dry, as if it was forgotten about on the stove. The homefries were good but not great. The toast had way to much butter and made it soggy. The waiter was to busy reading the newspaper then tending to the customers. Either the reviewers had something from a phantom menu that I didn’t have a chance to try or my standards are way to high. 1st time trying and it might just be my last.

After being here before for a packed Saturday brunch hour, I was expecting a super long wait for my Sunday breakfast, but my date and I grabbed a table immediately! Great coffee that just keeps on coming, perfect over-easy eggs, delicious breakfast sausage and Canadian bacon.(Wish I’d tried the Hollandaise!) The hash browns are delicious — nothing is too greasy or salty. This place is pretty open, sunny and quiet, perfect for breakfast. Our waiter was great and let us hang out at our table and leisurely sip coffee by the window for as long as we wanted — if there’s no rush, there’s nobody hustling to get you out the door, so hang out and people-watch! Finally, the prices are fantastic — full breakfasts for two clock in at well under $ 20. Cash-only, so hit up an ATM before you get there.

Oh my gah! Why no love for Pete’s???Well, one… it is in Everett. I almost don’t want to review it, because this is *my* favorite place to eat breakfast… my little secret. This is one of the BEST places to get breakfast /brunch EVA! Well if you live in Cambridge, Somerville or Medford… Trek over to Pete’s Very close to the Target/Costco plaza… only a five minute drive… If you go on the weekends… go early! This place is always packed. You may have to wait outside or in the doorway… It is a little uncomfortable, since the people waiting are literally standing in the front of everyone only a few feet away… oh well. Oh and it is on a main street(right off the rotary) so I would suggest to take your first left onto the residential street(I think the name is Everett Street HA) and park there… Also, if a table opens up. Just sit there. Don’t ask, don’t hesitate… just sit there. even if there are dishes(they will be cleared in one second. I’m tellin ya!) I love this place for the following reasons: Huge portions coffee constantly refilled at no charge service is fast and to the point menu has variety but isnt too overwhelming the prices are CHEAP! Not reasonable, not moderate. CHEAP… my two girlfriends and I can eat here for under $ 15… They have egg beaters and will do any substitution you desire(within reason) The food TASTES good… I mean, it isn’t necessarily diet food, but it isn’t dripping in oil, it is just nice big yummy, fluffy, omelette’s, crispy, salty homefries and golden buttery toast. I usually get tomatoes and cheese omelette w/egg beater, x the home fries and replace with extra wheat toast. They even bring skim milk to me for my coffee! My friends usually get french toast or pancakes… nothing extravagant, nothing gourmet… Just GOOD food On the cheap! Go here. You WILLNOTBESORRY! Plan a shopping day at Costco and fuel up here beforehand… I may just see you there ;) A++++++++++++++ for these guys!!!
