Peter’s PC Mobile Computer Repair

My laptop had been conking out every few months and I had been taking it to a local repair shop who ultimately just reinstalled windows and cost me a week of lost work each time. The most recent time it happened, I called Peter who came to my house and had everything sorted out in a couple hours. He figured out why it was happening and not only fixed it, but took the time to ask me questions about how I use my laptop and educate me about small changes I could make to keep it healthy and running well. I feel so reassured to have him as a resource for my computer needs. Superior service that saved me money!

I had several very frustrating issues going on for some time with my computer, phone interface, and internet radio device – and time spent with tech support on the phone was totally time wasted. I have always had a fundamental wariness about contacting someone to work on my computer. Having only the most basic computer knowledge, it would be easy to sell me on repairs I don’t need. I took a risk, and called Peter. He was great! He fixed everything I asked him about, and got rid of a virus and other nasty stuff while he was at it, all in relatively short order. He’s knowledgeable, professional, and his fees are reasonable. I highly recommend Peter. I know I will definitely use his services in the future, and will be recommending him to family and friends.

I was able to make a quick appointment with Peter after my laptop screen died. It turned out it wasn’t the screen itself but the cable connecting the screen to the motherboard. Peter gave me regular updates and kept his price quote even though we thought it was one thing and it turned out to be another.
If your looking for an HONEST tech to work on your computer I would highly recommend Peter. The next time I have an issue he will be my first stop.

I have been using Peter for over 10 years now, and is has consistently helped me and my families with our software and hardware needs. He is an expert at the diagnosis of viruses and malware, and is also an expert at motherboard and memory issues.
He has always returned my calls even for the most mundane of technical questions and has always been able to arrive at the scene within 2 hours during major systems failures (last one was a blue screen of death on my home PC last year) I trust him with all my computer repair needs.

I gave this shop generously 2 stars and only because he provided a minimal of service. An 85yo man Ray called me and his anti-​virus program had disappeared or somehow erased. We found this shop listed in Unilocal,it only had one review but since he was mobile the shop owner was called and he drove a few miles to Rays house. Ray did not have a working DVD drive so the tech used an external drive to reinstall norton360 after he used an anti-​virus scanner he had on a USB stick before reinstalling Norton but he never tried to find out why Norton had disappeared in the first place, I suspect he doesn’t have the skills to do deeper troubleshooting. Anyway. within a few days Ray had the exact same problem and called Peters and the guy was somewhat annoyed but promised Ray he would contact Norton and call Ray back with a solution. no call was ever made. He charged this 85yo man $ 160 for what was essentially a rudimentary computer scan and a reinstall of Rays Norton360 DVD. At the very least he should have returned Rays call especially since it was his «fix» that didn’t work but overall he seems to lack customer service and and basically took advantage of a senior and certainly overcharged him for the little work he did.

Thank you Peter for coming out to our office on such short notice and removing a bug in our computers. Peter was quick and offers fast and friendly service. Highly recommended!
