Business Owner

I came to Washington in 1994 from New Mexico and immediately felt at home here in the Northwest. I love the climate, beautiful landscape and all that the City has to offer. I began my professional career as a medical assistant in a small health clinic primarily working with women. I went on to become a social worker and worked in an inpatient drug rehab center for about 3 years and then with Washington state school districts to help families in need stabilize and connect with needed resources. I came upon Acupuncture when I was pregnant and my midwife used it in my treatment. I fell in love with it and am continually amazed at the ability of this medicine to re-establish balance in a person’s body without the use of surgery or drugs. I believe it to be a very empowering modality for of healing for my patients.

When I am not at the clinic I stay very busy enjoying my family and many hobbies including, gardening, yoga, meditation, camping, and playing the viola.
