Established in 2007.

After years dedicated to intensely litigating divorces and other family law cases in Superior Court, I came to the realization that the best outcome for families most likely will not be delivered by the legal system. To address the vacuum of alternative, out of court divorce and family law solutions, I opened my own law firm with the concept that I can follow my client’s lead. Following does not mean I am absent from the process. Following means my clients consider options specific to their families and I provide them with the legal advice and support they need during what is often an overwhelming time.

I grew up in Oso and graduated fArlington High School in 1985. After earning my undergraduate degree at Western Washington University, I attended Seattle University School of Law.

Since 2001 I have focused my legal career on helping families transitioning through divorce, parenting plan modifications, child support modifications and domestic violence protection orders.

In 2002 I joined O’Loane Nunn & Guthrie, a law firm focused on Family Law. I later became a partner and, struck out on my own in 2007 and founded my current practice. I serve on the Snohomish County Family Law Section board of directors, I served as chair of the WWL Snohomish County Judicial Evaluations Committee and I provide pro bono services to those in desperate need. I have received multiple commendations from the legal community and have presented at legal education seminars for lawyers.

I have strong roots in our community and I believe reorganizing families can happen outside the courtroom.
