I have an Erte’ print that I bought over 30 years ago. It’s heavy and it fell off the wall more then 20 years ago and the glass broke. Michaels cleaned it for me and replaced the glass in less then 24 hours and it looks almost brand new. I love it– well done Michael’s!

Pretty much your typical Michael’s: it’s stuffed to the ceiling with crafty things, packed on shelves in rather narrow aisles. You could totally get lost in here, and not in the good way… the only hope you have to find anything is either to ask one of the nice employees for help, or to just wander around the store enough that eventually you start to figure it out, although you’ll get stuck a lot behind people who are blocking the aisles while they ponder the merits of different glitters or polymer clays or doll parts or whatever. The selection of craft stuff is superior to Jo-Ann Fabrics but a step or two behind Hobby Lobby, but for the most part Michael’s is likely to have what you need. When you’re at checkout, give them your email address with caution: you will be besieged with(or is it «besieged by»?) emails with coupons for 10,000% off everything ever.

I’ve been coming here for years. I always come here when I have some sort of project and I end up being there for at least an hour. The store is fun and they always have some seriously good deals, even if it’s something that you don’t really need! :| products are always usually pretty good, sometimes over priced but that’s not my biggest issue. I wish I could give more than 3 stars but it really bothers me about the customer service here. It’s impossible to find an employee anywhere in the store(The only one is usually at the check-out with a line of 10 people waiting) but if you do, prepare for huffs and puffs and maybe even an eye-roll. I almost feel guilty asking them a question. My last visit the employee walked right passed me and acted like she didn’t hear me. After saying excuse me a few times she turned around and it was clear I was inconveniencing her. Very uncomfortable. Not sure why the employees are so irritable here. Therefore, 3 stars.

I’m not much of a crafts person, so I came here this morning needing help. Walked in just as the store opened and was immediately greeted. They pointed me in the direction of what I was looking for(large picture/poster frames) and I found them just where they said. Two employees were by the frames having a pretty entertaining conversation(yes, I ease-dropped), but they stopped as soon as I came up and asked to help me. «Yes please!» One of them walked me through what I was looking for, showed me what she thought would work, and off I went. I framed up the pictures at our office and they look great, just in time to show them off to some potential clients. Will definitely be back here in the future.

Since this Michael’s location is convenient, I stop by frequently to pick up supplies. The selection always leaves more to be desired. There are never workers nearby, though I rarely need them anyway. Check lanes are always slow Last time I was there, with a line of customers, but checkouts were held up by one person. Since I was in a hurry, I left and haven’t went back. I’m happy there are other options close by. I will do all I can to avoid this location from now on. Next time I will drive the distance to Lynnwood, which is typically much cleaner, well organized and has a better selection of items, or simply pick a different chain.

Can always find what I am looking for BUT by myself and or if I have to go hunt someone down. It was nice when I came to pay that I brought the wrong coupon and the cashier gave me the one I meant to bring. Great customer service.

This is your typical Michaels store. On my visit, the location was VERY messy and felt 100% unorganized. There was product and trash on the floor throughout the entire visit and not once did I see a staff member with a smile, or even positive body language, present. The staff appeared to care less about the store, and boy did it show. I would recommend making the extra trip distance and shop at the new Hobby Lobby in Lynnwood for a much better shopping experience. Michaels, this store is truly a disaspointment to your company. The higher star rating is because of the variety of products and decent prices.
