Goodmiles Rent A Car

I rented a Ford Taurus at the one-​month rate and am very pleased with my experience. It is important to know the drawbacks of Goodmiles — they are based in Everett, and their cars are significantly older than what you would find at your traditional car rental company. That said, for me, the advantages were well worth it: a great price and very accommodating customer service.

The most exceptional part of Goodmiles is of cause it’s lower price compared with other rental companies. Goodmiles is a little far away from the airport in Tacoma or Seattle downtown. However, you can always find sharing shuttle from the airport to Goodmiles. Considering its reasonable price, it is worth choosing this company to have a long term car rental. Although all the cars there are used ones, they are in good condition. In addition, the custom service and the agent are great.

Great rental for extended period of time. I rented for 13 weeks in the summer and the price difference between Goodmiles and other companies was astounding. The rental car was not fancy but I didn’t have one problem with it the entire time. The most exceptional part was the customer service. Everyone was so nice, flexible and a real pleasure to work with.

Goodmiles is more than reasonably priced, honest and friendly and specializes in renting out older and used vehicles for long term (or short term) use. Like others on Unilocal,I am no stranger to being kicked in the loins by Hertz or Enterprise or whoever… and was very nervous about renting a car, especially a used one for the long term. With some of the other jokers I’ve gone through, the original quote is never the final one and inevitably, you end up paying so much more due to shady fees and added charges to your bill you didn’t even know you needed or incurred. It’s just not good for building my trust… Not good at all.
Goodmiles was so the opposite of all that and was very honest, upfront and common sense about how much the car would cost and informing me of my rights and other information. If the website says 510 a month and — Surprise! — that’s how much the rental costs. If you don’t use up the alotted amount of miles one month — Surprise! — the extra miles roll over into the next month. If the car engine goes up in flames and it’s not your fault — Surprise! — you don’t pay for it. It’s good business without the trickery… and I really appreciate it.
SERVICE
Service and process is a commodity in themselves in addition to the vehicle… and I must say, the service was commendable. I worked primarily with Han and he was very helpful, polite, and informative, even going so far as to call me back since he saw he missed one of my calls. All in all, the rental process took me about two days. I called one day and picked up a car the next.
PRODUCT & VALUE
I have nothing in my life to compensate for (lol), so all I needed was a basic thingy on wheels for as cheap as possible without being 1. the bus or 2. unsafe… so I could not be happier with the car, the service and how easy the process was. I’ve been very happy with my long term rental and, even though it’s older (aka about 8 years old), it is clean and runs well enough.
LOCATION & HOURS
Unfortunately, the hours are weekday only and the location is slightly inconvenient if you’re based out of Seattle. Due to the web of lies that is the internet, I thought they had some Seattle locations, but it turns out, you have to get out to Everett to retrieve your car. No big deal, but the situation can become hairy if you plan to rent your car for longer than a month (meaning monthly maintenance visits to Everett during working hours). The nice part is they do try to work with you via email to meet during a time that is convenient for you.
CONCLUSION
All in all, for all the reasons I listed above, I would definitely rent from them again! Again, they are so friendly, profressional, and NOT shady… plus, it’s always good to help out a small business. And by a small business, I mean me… just joshin’…not really.

A no frills rental car place with a personal touch. The cars are old with lots of miles, but run fine and are well maintained. If you are on a budget and need a long term rental this is the place to get it. Dramatically cheaper than anything else you will find, but the quality of service is better than at the big companies

I was planning to rent a car and valued my options with enterprise, national, dollar… Since I was new to driving, didn’t want to spend a fortune for renting. So wanted something cheaper and better to practice driving for a month. From the Unilocal and google reviews, found goodmiles.
Was a bit skeptical at first because, the rental cars are all used ones. But still wanted to give it a shot. To be frank and honest, the reviews did not disappoint me at all. I ended up renting ford taurus (2006) for 2 months and planning to rent from them again.
More about the service :
The first thing you will notice is the courtesy and helpfulness of the company. Everything is neat and organized. You have to email the necessary documents the day before and the next day when you go, you just need to sign the documents (only after a detailed explanation of the terms and conditions. what can go wrong. what to look out for. how to be careful. etc etc… loads of useful information) and get your keys and there you go.
The car though is used car, it has a very good maintenance and kept clean.
P.S: they have options to upgrade the car.

I rented a Ford Taurus from Goodmiles Rent-​A-​Car in Everett, WA from 24 Oct 13 to 19 Dec 13 and decided to write a review now that I’m nearing the end of my rental contract. I live out of the country and needed a long term rental while I finished my master’s degree. I spent a good bit of time researching all the major rental car companies, and even a couple rentals being offered through organizations with which I’m affiliated, and the best deal, by far, was Goodmiles Rent-​A-​Car.
I was EXTREMELY satisfied with Goodmiles because they were a fraction of the cost compared to the competition and my car was extremely clean, well-​running, and worked perfectly for the entirety of my long term rental. Checking in and out was a breeze and the customer service was professional, informative, and simply the best service I have ever had from a rental car company. Also, the Goodmiles contract was probably one of the easiest to read with absolutely NO gimmicks.
I would definitely rent from Goodmiles again, keep up the great work you all are doing!!!

I did a 2 month rental when I moved here. Goodmiles was very honest and upfront about all the costs. I had no surprises or unknown charges. This is a great service for a long term car rental. Will do business with them again in the future.

I rented a sedan for 2 months for Goodmiles. They were very courteous, helpful, honest and timely with information. I would rent from them again in a heartbeat!

We rented a 2003 Ford Taurus for about two months. It ran perfectly well, was clean, and was a great value for our purposes. As the reviewers had mentioned, the management was great. They were very helpful and it was a pleasure to do business with them. We plan to use them again in the future.

I had their rental for a week and their car was very reliable. The prices can’t be beaten. In two day’s worth of a rental from a big company you’ll get a week from them. I highly recommend you give these guys a shot you’ll be happy you did.
