Not sure from a parent-​child perspective, but I paid for my own braces when I was 19 and got them off at 21. Had a great experience. I felt a little out of place because it’s a kid-​oriented practice, but it’s truly incredible there. The team is always wearing matching T-​shirts and always super friendly. The waiting area always has a couple of arcade games, the latest magazines, a big fishtank, and sometimes even snacks for kids while families wait. Both offices are immaculately clean, new, and pleasantly-​decorated. They’re always having giveaways and rewards of some kind. They were very up-​front about costs and were always willing to bend over backwards when I had trouble making payments as a college student. My costs included all my appointments, extra brackets, etc. as well as retainers for the rest of my life. Now that my braces are off and I’m pretty much done with my Wells experience, I can say that they were very forthright and honest about cost, what I would be facing at every appointment, how long I’d be there, and what to expect in general. Dr. Wells sees hundreds of people and he always remembered little details about my life. 2 locations for convenience on the east & west sides. I highly recommend Wells for anyone, but especially if you have multiple kids who need braces! They’re very passionate about what they do!
