I have tried calling this place several times to try to get a hair cut. No one ever answers the phone or calls back. I have no idea about the quality of haircuts and never will. I now to go Old Towne because they answer their phone and get an appointment made.

This was the best haircut I have had in my entire life. I was in Indiana on business about a month ago and badly needed a trim. This place came up on Unilocal and I called to see if they could fit me in. The owner actually stayed late, a good half an hour past the closing time to accommodate me. He was, hands down, the most knowledgeable and professional barber I have ever been to. I wish I could justify flying back to Evansville every two weeks just to get my haircut here. From what they said when I was there, their schedule is usually booked 2+ weeks out so definitely call ahead if you’re planning to stop by.

Came in during lunch rush so I had a little bit of a wait but was taken care of and placed in an open time. The environment is really nice and makes you feel welcomed. They offered me a beverage(nonalcoholic) while I waited. Prices are around $ 15 a cut [long hair $ 21/full head shave $ 25]. They also have beard trims, tones and highlights. Highly recommend if in the downtown area!

I was in Evansville from out of town and needed a haircut BAD. I found V Barber in the downtown area and walked in without an appointment. Kale and I believe his brother(can’t remember his name, sorry) work there and are 4th generation barbers. I was greeted with a modern, urban atmosphere. A giant, flat-screen TV hung on the wall and there was eclectic music coming from the sound system. Guitars and a sport bike helped add flair. Kale introduced himself and asked me if I cared for a drink. They offer everything from soda and sparkling water, to espresso and cappuccino, and it is included with your cut. Kale asked how I would like my hair, and I gave him a quick run-down of my typical, yet boring cut. He smiled and told me he would give me the best cut ever, and man was he right! Kale spent a good amount of time working my hair and was very precise and purposeful.(Most of my stylists seem to just let their scissors fly through my hair randomly, seemingly never having a plan of attack). The result was by far the best cut with the most style I have ever had. The price was $ 18, which was lower than I expected. Considering the quality, time spent, included beverage, and the feel of a high-end barbershop, I would have expected to pay $ 25 or more. I would absolutely recommend V Barber Salon to anyone, especially guys looking for something far better than your bargain-brand hair cutter.
