Maybe the best place to get a burger in Evansville. I’ve been eating there for years and the products are all wonderful. I don’t think I have ever had to complain about anything being wrong at this place for decades.
Their consistency is amazing. You always get a fresh, hot burger.
I have taken several out-​of-​Townes there and they always leave very happy.

When they’re on, they’re great, but usually service is poor and sometimes the food is poor. My wife and I ate there recently and my burger was LOADED with mustard.
They have those shoestring french fries which are great when they’re fresh.

We were on our way back from Louisville and where driving near Evansville and heard literally 4 commercials for this place back to back. I was thinking what the heck now we have to try it.
After a 25 minute detour through winding country roads we got to Ritzy’s.
Once inside I had a hard time with the menu, it was a little strange and hard to read but I saw a sign when I came in for a combo for a double cheese burger and fries and a drink.
My wife got a single with fries a drink and a scoop of ice cream.
When I ordered the sandwich fer her I ordered it plane and with cheese. Also it was very confusing on how I would get the ice cream. They said I needed a token to get the ice cream but they were out of them so they circled the ice cream purchase on my receipt. Even after that I was still confused as to what I was suppose to do.
Anyway on to the food.
The burger was good but it could have been much better, it was a little thin kind of like a steak n shake burger but even more flat. My wife’s single burger was barely there and when we got them hers was missing cheese. I went back up and they quickly took care of it. I was glad that they took the patty and put it back on the grill to melt the cheese.
The fries were allot better than any other fancy cut fries I have ever had.
We also had Cheery coke that was coke with cheery syrup put in it, it was better than the premixed cheery coke you get from the store.
I did finally get the ice cream it was just a little odd that I didn’t get it when I received our food. My wife said it was the best strawberry ice cream she has ever had.
This place really took you back to a time way before I was even alive. It was a really cool place to finish off our vacation.
I really feel like we didn’t get a great value for the price we paid, but it was good for what it was and the service was good.

I eat here on a very regular basis. Their salads, burgers, fries, onion rings, and chili is the BEST! I love it all. I always order root beer there, it goes great with everything and gives you that «old fashioned» feeling. They make the best shakes you could ever dream of, and I don’t think any ice cream in town could possibly come close to theirs! Wonderful, delicious food!

It feels like I eat here everyday, but its hard not to. I love their salads and burgers. I always have to wash the meal down with a diet cherry coke because they have the best cherry juice in the world. I must find where they get it. if you want ice cream, get the vanilla on a chocolate sundae.
