Kitchen Affairs closed on November 15, 2012 after 26 great years. Thank you to all our wonderful customers for a very gratifying and successful run.

I think Kitchen Collection in Eastland Mall is still open.

The class that I took, Basic knife skills, at this place did not boost there rating. The «teacher» of the course was a rep from Wusthof. I was very excited to see what he had to offer. The class started off well. The guy presented us with some funny antidotes about knife care, and cleared up some misconceptions for me. However, as the class went on, the classic saying, «too many cooks in the kitchen» became a reality. The owners, who are very knowledgeable from an amateur cooks perspective, continuously interjected with their opinion. The rep has 20 years experience with professional cutlery. I am leery about taking a celebrity chef class. I am not going to pay full price for a class if I don’t get to fully learn from the professional.
