tl;dr–
Upside: Nicest staff around, near everything, reasonable price
Downside: Difficult logistics
I was actually a bit floored by the accommodation that the desk staff made due to my circumstances. After a week of couch surfing (most of which was actually chair-​surfing in a hospital waiting room), being presented with a great studio, working wifis (though I plan to extend an offer to provide training and router configuration the next time I’m in town), and a great price point made a rough situation considerably better for a couple of days.
The only real issue with the place isn’t at all the fault of the staff or ownership. Some years ago, a median was constructed between NB and SB Green River Rd in front of the entrance to the property. That forces one to either drive a truck of excessive compensation power or drive an extra few blocks to get to it. Exiting is via NB Green River only, and the traffic at this intersection can make the effort a bit harrowing.
All in all, I’ve stayed at this property twice for somewhat longer periods that I typically would, and though the ownership has changed, I’d go as far as to say that the quality has either remained constant or slightly improved.
