In 1963 Mr. John H. Thompson open the business with the name The House of Thompson Mortuary located at 1917 Asbury Ave, Evanston, IL. where it still remains under it new name Thompson Funeral & Cremation Services, Inc. Our business has been serving the Evanston/North shore community for 51 years.

Business Owner
Mr. Philip L Gillette has been working with Thompson sense 1965 and graduated from Worsham Mortuary School in 1978 and when Mr. Thompson passed away in 1999 Mr. Gillette was left to carry on the business and that when the new name was established. So Mr. Gillette is no stranger to the community.
