Business Owner

Michael E. Baker began his career as an Assistant State’s Attorney in Cook County. Throughout his career he has litigated hundreds of bench trial and several jury trials ranging from misdemeanors to murder. As a prosecutor, Michael received praise and awards noting his exceptional trial skills and commitment to seeking any and all forms of justice including Cook County State’s Attorney of the year.

While, Michael’s skills in the courtroom are invaluable when a case must be litigated, he also understands the finer nuances of working towards a just settlement that is in the best interests of the client.

Since being in private practice, Michael has represented clients on multiple criminal law, DUI, and family law/​divorce matters. Michael believes that the key to a successful client-​attorney relationship is to communicate and make sure that the client understands every facet of their legal situation. To that end, Michael works tirelessly to achieve the necessary results.
