In the last few months, I have had pretty awful luck and am now in the middle of my second repair with Foreign and Domestic. They have been fantastic through the entire process. Everyone I have dealt with has been incredibly professional, trying to make sure that I didn’t have to pay anything out of pocket for two accidents that weren’t my fault. They did an incredible job on my car the first time, and finished it sooner than they had originally thought they could. I have no doubt that they will do a great job this second time that I have my car with them.

When my Lexus was hit, I thought what better place to take it then the dealership to get it back to new. Dealership referred me to F&D. I spoke with manager Mike Stancy when car went there and told them my concern, only had my car for a year, was in mint condition, and just wanted it back to original. He treated me like I was their enemy instead of customer. Finally my friend had to come in and say that «they are trying to help me» which is not what someone needs to say but show. He (Mike) told me if they used aftermarket parts their work is not guaranteed. So of course, I wanted the work to be guaranteed, especially when referred to by the Lexus dealership and asked him to use only original factory parts to get the warranty. At first the insurance gave an estimate of about 9k. The damage was front bumper, left and right fenders, and rack in pinion. Nothing to the frame. After about 3 weeks, I’m thinking my car is being repaired. I got a call from Mike, said the insurance company wants to total my car that the costs are going over cars value. I went in and said I don’t want my car totaled, especially when it was not that big of a damage and I had just finished paying off the warranty on the car. I went into the shop, and Mike began fighting with me as if I was the enemy. He said insurance wants to total because estimate has gone through the threshold % of value. So i looked at estimate to see why it was costing so much and see 3 new rims for about 1500. I said well if my car is going to be totaled because of rims i rather not have the rims and just have the car i can buy my own rims. I no longer felt comfortable with the shop fixing my car and wanted to take my car to another shop. He told me I had to pay 2200 in storage fees and tear down costs. I did not have this money and was about to lose my car thanks to F&D. He tried to scare the insurance agent saying we have no idea what other costs might arise and the dash is lit up my christmas trees just so they total the car and he get his storage fees. He showed me invoice and showed that it took about 10 hours to tear down the car, yet it took him 7 days to reply back to the insurance agent with the supplement. Why did it take 7 days after only taking 1 day to tear down the car? Was it my fault that he was slow and I had to now pay the storage fees for those 7 days? He knew they were going to total my car and just let it sit there to collect fees. I called the dealership to complain and next day F&D said take the car for 1100, so i paid out of my pocket to take the car and tow it to my garage. After looking in vehicle i also lost a pair of brand new sun glasses in them. Long story short, i fixed my car for much less then F&D was asking for, with original lexus parts and liftetime warranty, and the other shop gave me the 1100 i paid to F&D.
Bottom line– These guys are all about money. Don’t care about customers. Don’t go here unless you want to pay through the teeth or lose your car.
