Established in 2014.

Events By Joey was started organically in the community of Evanston. We have now done social, corporate, and not for profit events all around the Chicagoland, as well as Michigan and Wisconsin!

Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Joey grew up in the small town of Sterling, Illinois. From the earliest days of his life, he helped his grandmother set up, bake, and entertain for dinner parties, bridge tournaments, and family gatherings for their friends, clients, and family.

He learned very quickly, by the age of 6, to set a table, and to watch the perfect event come to life! His passion for the perfect event began organically with his first network, family. His family would make many visits to Chicago to see relatives, and as soon as he could see the skyline, his eyes were wide open, hands on the car window, looking dreamily towards this beautiful place. On the drive into the city, His father would always remark, «this kid belongs here (Chicago)».

He went to college at Illinois State University, as a classical pianist. After college, he resided in Bloomington, Normal awaiting the day that he could save enough money to move to the city!
