Evanston Imprintables

So there I was — three days before New Year’s and 3000 miles away from where I needed to get a handful of custom-​made T-​shirts printed and delivered. I checked online resources only to learn that most were closed during the holiday break. Lucky for me I saw that four-​star rated Evanston Imprintables was indeed open & ready for business. Yay!
While their design interface was pretty intuitive, I was totally won over by their commitment to personal service and professionalism. They even made design and T-​shirt recommendations that were great and saved me money. The shirts got done beautifully and on time. Thanks to Evanston Impintables, I became a hero just as they became mine. Frankly, I would enthusiastically endorse them for any of their products/​services. Use them and you’ll thank me!

Our school sports teams used EI for three seasons of sports wear. This last season’s order seemed to have been plagued with issues stemming from lack of or miscommunication. Our order had items missing and an item that was misprinted. Now, this happens when ordering sports wear and this has happened with other companies as well. My issue was with how everything was communicated and resolved.
We continuously had to ask when our order was coming in. EI should have given us a date or date range for when the work would be completed. EI had some confusion with who ordered what when dealing with the two coaches who ordered. I know that this can be confusing but when you’re in the business of making t-​shirts it’s your job to keep track of who orders what. The final issue was when I dropped off some items that students requested the numbers on (this was a last minute request and not an EI error) I was told I could pick up the shirt that was missing a last name three days later. Now, this shirt was an original error that EI knew about in mid April. It was now the beginning of June. When I went back three days later to pick up the shirt and I was given an excuse about why it wasn’t finished. Tracy said that there were so many huge graduation orders that she could not finish this one shirt. I know that there is a lot of money in these large orders but making it seem as if our order wasn’t important enough was rude. At the very least, EI should have called me to say don’t waste your time driving over here to pick up a shirt that isn’t ready.
When it was all done, we waited over 6 weeks to get items that should have been ready in April. When we revived the final invoice there was a large price discrepancy between the amount we were quoted and collected from our students to what they were billing us. The final extra items ordered came on different materials and showed signs of being hastily produced.
We noticed that the company was more efficient when they were a smaller operation a year ago. There might be some growing pains as they expand and I hope that customer service will improve for future clients.

I have been working with Evanston Imprintables for several years. My company has an annual picnic for which we purchase several hundred t-​shirts. They are always very helpful providing color options, price options and fabric options for our shirts. Their work is of excellent quality and the prices are always affordable. Tracy is lovely to work with as is the rest of her staff.
