I really enjoy helping people achieve their musical goals, whether it’s to improvise fluently over a highly complex set of jazz harmonic changes or to simply learn a good handful of tunes to play with their family or pals over a beer around a campfire. I’ve made my living playing in a large variety of professional situations (special events, corporate functions, clubs, shows) for several decades. In addition, I am a player who truly enjoys teaching (not always the case, there are players who don’t either relish the teaching process or know how to impart what may be fine playing skills into concepts and demonstrations that students can absorb into their own playing).
