Founded in 1998 by a team of senior software engineers, Breakthrough Technologies is a team of dedicated engineers who create custom software solutions for complex business problems. The owners of Breakthrough Technologies, Doug Wilson and Randy Knapp have almost 40 years of experience developing state-​of-​the-​art software.

We are a software development firm with extensive experience in business enterprise systems development, content management and testing systems, and medical applications and devices. Focused in the Midwest, we work with small and medium businesses on high-​value, low risk custom, open-​source, and systems integration projects. We also consult quite regularly with larger Fortune 500 clients on strategic technology and software product development strategies.
