Come for the laundry, stay for the cockroaches. I was doing my laundry here recently and I had some of my clothes on the folding table. I lift up a shirt and there was a cockroaches walking around. There’s quite a few. Plus nobody is ever on duty to help with machine eaten change. There is no number to call either. Don’t. Just don’t.

It’s functional. It’s a dive. I use it because I have to.

This is my first, only, and last experience with a laundromat. Boyfriend’s apartment doesn’t have laundry machines and this place is practically in his backyard. Bib ‘n’ Tucker is dirty and expensive, but this is just a phase in our poor college student lives, so I won’t write an angry review based on that. My review is based on a horrific experience with theft. A thief stole our clothes from a washer here one night. No one is EVER on duty here and there is NO way to get in contact with them. There’s NO phone number, NO name of any managers, not even an actual listing for this business — in store or online. When I asked the custodian and window washer working here, they said, «I don’t know who’s the manager, sorry.» You don’t know who you work for??? Boyfriend and I waited up til 6am to speak to the person who supposedly opens store every morning(according to the night custodian) but there was no one here. Evanston PD was unhelpful. Extremely frustrating. Do not come here. It is a ghost place. There is no name, no face, no voice, no number attached to these tumbling machines. Scary.
