When I saw the full parking lot at mid lunch hour I was expecting a long wait but was seat immediately. My waitress, Brittany, was friendly and very attentive. My order came fairly quick and I don’t remember if my glass was ever empty. All in all I had a great experience.

Service was charming and the restaurant wasn’t very busy when I went in for breakfast on a weekday. The food was standard Cracker Barrel, but it did come out fast which I appreciated. The attention for more coffee or napkins should be positively noted.

It’s Cracker Barrel if you have ever been in one you know what to expect. Food wise it’s good same as the the staff. Nothing terrible nothing great just an average Cracker Barrel.

This Sunday, my family and I decided to go to Cracker Barrel after church, which seemed like a good idea. It was fairly busy when we walked in, there were 8 of us. The hostess assured us it would be no more than a 45 minute wait. We arrived at approximately 12:30. After waiting over an hour, we decided to see what was going on. We asked the three hostesses at the main stand, and they just stared at us cluelessly and told us we had 4 parties ahead of us, and would not tell us a time. It was a frustrating experience, considering we have waited over an hour just to sit down, and we were still stuck waiting, for who knows how much longer. It was very unorganized, and the hostesses did nothing but stand there confused. We then left the restaurant after having wasted an hour of our time when we could have been already eating somewhere else. I witnessed several other parties come in and be sat within 15 minutes of arrival. We will not be visiting Cracker Barrel again.

The Cracker Barrel is a great place to bring the family, rowdy small children and large groups for a little amusement at the table while enjoying some classic home cooking. There’s a gift shop in front that keeps you occupied while you wait for your table, rocking chairs and fabric checkerboards for the family(also for sale) and plenty of candy and gift items to peruse and pick up as future tchockes for the mantle one day. Cracker Barrel is a weekend tradition for the family and I’m tickled I live less than 20 miles from now nowadays. Seeing the sign on the highway during long road trips was the only highlight of driving through Kansas and Oklahoma during the summer and the food is consistently tasty, cheesy, and butter. I bring my 6 month-old nephew with us and thankfully, the noise he makes just blends right into the crowd so I never feel awkward when the little guy is making gleeful nom nom sounds during breakfast. And the staff is always happy to see a little baby so he gets entertained pretty often while I scarf my Uncle Hershel’s down as well. I’m a big fan of their hashbrown casserole, chicken fried steak and biscuits with gravy. I swear I have to log on another 2 miles of walking to shake off the food coma sensation, but the food is worth it. Hot biscuits, gravy, apple butter and sauces galore are a true guilty pleasure and the reason why we come back.

Waitress got my order all the way wrong and my food was cold, after asking them to heat it up they brought my steak back out completely charred.

The atmosphere and staff are wonderful. We’ve always had friendly and prompt service. The store is kept organized, clean and stocked with lots of fun products. I am only rating 3 stars because of the food. I have eaten there for breakfast and dinner and have not liked the food. It isn’t flavored well or seasoned well. That being said my husband and kids really enjoy the food(why we’ve gone back) so maybe it’s just me!

So is it just me, or is this place the crack of all foods! I found this place on thanksgiving day about 5 years ago with my family and have put on about 5 pounds spence I’ve first eaten there! The food is seriously addicting! The chicken and dumplings are amazing as well as the meatloaf. All of the servers here are very friendly and I’ve never had a mistake on my order. The management is always super friendly as well. I’ve always loved coming in and checking out the store. They offer all kinds of very unique items. Old fashion sodas and all day suckers are awesome! The store also offers some forum of entertainment while you wait to be seated on a busy day! The only big issue with this ace was that the next day, you’ve eaten so much that you end up in a Cracker Barrel coma! Will be back for seconds, thirds and fourths! Thanks guys!

I’m a huge fan of Cracker Barrel, but today was our first experience at the Evans location and I really wish it would have been better. My husband got a breakfast meal that was served cold. After asking to get the meal reheated it looked almost inedible, his steak was brought back looking like charcoal COMPLETELY overcooked when he asked for it to be cooked medium well. His hash browns were also brought back still cold. On a better note, when we brought it to the managers attention, the meal was removed from our bill.

I had chicken and dumplings. The atmosphere was great and our waitress heather was our waitress and my brother who had been in other cracker Barrels liked everything just peachy. He said he would be back and he would not just say that. The food has to be good for him to go back.

My wife and I had a great breakfast the last day of the month. We got here just before the crowd hit. Food was hot and the coffee was great. I have found Cracker Barrel food quality is very consistent and the service is always friendly.

If you come around 8am you can enjoy a good breakfast. The biscuits are a must. And always play the I.Q. test game. Every Cracker Barrel has a country store where you can buy trinkets and such; there’s some pretty cool stuff in there, though a bit expensive. I like the down-home country feel, and the customer service that goes along with it. I have never had a bad experience in the restaurant.

I came in on Halloween morning for a late breakfast with my toddler and baby. I needed some comfort food, and ordered the Old Timer’s Breakfast. My older son had a pancake and bacon. The food tasted OK. It seemed somewhat like it had been sitting for a while. Like, it was all leavings from breakfast and they hadn’t made new anything because it was nearly lunch time. The service was really good, though. We ate, then my son was eager to go to the toy section. After about 15 minutes of browsing, my stomach started gurgling. By the time we made it through the line to check out, I was having pretty intense abdominal cramps. I basically rushed home. So, probably not good food handling practices going on behind the scenes. If the food had just tasted a little old, I wouldn’t have bothered to make a review, but the fact that it made me ill is definitely worth mentioning. Luckily my babies didn’t get sick, or I would’ve been really upset. Won’t be visiting this Cracker Barrel again.

I was in the area and decided to stop in and grab something to eat. I was meeting my mother here so I grabbed a seat in one of the rocking chairs on the porch and enjoyed the scenery. It took her over an hour to get there I’m usually impatient but I didn’t mind it this day because I was actually enjoying my time just rocking away in the rocking chair. Once she arrived we went in and were quickly seated. The server was very friendly and swift at his job. It didn’t take us long to place our order and receive our food. I played a few rounds of the IQ game on the table while our food was being prepared. I loved this game as a kid. My aunt had one and we would play it all the time at her house. I like that you can request toast instead of biscuits or cornbread. I’m not fond of biscuits, so this is a perfect fix for me. The food was good not great but I do love the chicken and rice on Saturdays. That dish is sooooo good! I wish they would place that on the menu for everyday consumption. I would be there everyday! I hope my prayer is answered one day if not I guess I will try more things off the menu!!!

Went there on a Saturday night for dinner. The service was very poor, we waited a long time for anyone to take our order. Finally a server appeared and took our order. The food left a lot to be desired. The pancakes that my wife ordered had no flavor and were overcooked. I made the mistake of ordering the open faced roast beef sandwich and got three pieces of burned«grilled» sourdough bread, only one of them having meat and gravy on it. The roast beef was hard, dry, grainy pot roast that was probably sitting in a pan all day. The gravy was nondescript brown gravy. The beef was so tough it was hard to swallow. Our server was completely inattentive except at the end when he offered a takeout box. He didn’t bother to ask if we were satisfied. I suspect he knew what the answer was and didn’t want to hear it. Normally the service is good and the breakfast dishes are fair to good. Based on our experience tonight we won’t be back.

I tried to buy a picture frame and a sand filled snake from the store. My son, who was with me, wanted the snake. First, I waited in a line with four people in front of me with only one girl on register. Then, when I finally get to the front, I am told that since the snake doesn’t have a tag, I need to find one. No employee offers to do this, I had to. So, I go to the toy section and there are no other snakes. Just lizards and frog are left, all with the same tag and price of $ 3.99. When I go back to the front, the girl tells me that she can’t use those, it has to be a snake. She says I need to go find this other woman employee to help me find a sku. Again, no employee help. Now there are six people in line behind me and still no one else at the register. She then says that I should go ahead and buy the frame, and then pay for the snake later after I find a sku. I tell her no, I don’t want to wait in this line again. So, I go find this lady and she says the price is $ 3.99, so I tell the girl at the register and she says, she needs a sku, so she sends me back to this lady. Again, no employee lifts a finger or moves from their spots. It’s all up to me to solve their problem. I go back to the lady, and she says without a sku they just can’t sell it to me. I point out that all the items have the identical tags, and she says she needs to check on it. If I will wait a while, she’ll get around to checking on it and let me know the sku. By this time, I, and everyone in line behind me, have been waiting for six minutes just to buy this snake. Needless to say, I walked out without buying anything and with a very sad little boy. This is the laziest group of employees I have ever seen. Not one person came to help check people out, and no one wanted to lift a finger to solve a problem. Not once, did either employee move from the spot they were in to help at all.

AMBIENCE — B —(a chain restaurant with co. store attached) — clean. SERVICE — A — Host and Server were very friendly and accomodating. FOOD — D Went for late lunch around 3:30 on 11÷12÷10. I wasn’t so thrilled with the flavors or the food… nothing stood out except that you had huge quantities… the chicken in the bisquits — the chicken was dry… the chicken in dumplings, the dumplings were doughy and tasted undercooked. The fried okra was over fried and dry… My mum did have the breakfast(at 1:00p.m) of sunny side up eggs and nice thick bacon… the bacon was dry and tough… sigh…;( Lots of food… but didn’t even want to take home leftovers … I don’t think so… maybe I just had a bad cook on all parts of my meal… hmmm??? Someone needs to put quality control back into this kitchen! PRICE — C — don’t really want to go back… blech… HOWEVER — I did buy post-Halloween gummy worms in their company store for 90% off! Woo hoo! Okay, this was the highlight!
