I recommend the Stromboli or calzone and the Greek salad. The pizza can have a too much garlic and soggy in the center.

This is one of our regular places for take out! The Greek salads hardly have any feta on them and when we asked about it the manager said that everything was going up and didn’t offer to add anymore! You can buy a full container at publix for ½ the price of the whole salad! Stavros down the street puts tons of feta and ham! Maybe they should check out their competition!

Pizza was ok, sauce had no taste and cheese was very light. Service was lame, after drinks were served, waitress never checked on us to see if we needed anything else. It is ok for quick lunch and that’s it.

Went here a lot when we first moved to eustis(a year ago). You can tell they have changed cooks since then it’s ok pizza if you haven’t had it in a while. They forgot our Order twice and haven’t been back since then.

Enjoying the pizza and food. Service is great. Might consider a 5 if it was spectacular. 2 times here this month. We had a blow out on our pizza in number of places, surprised and a little disappointed. Thats where the crust rises up and explodes and dries out. I could consider a 3 star but won’t because they do a really good job all around.

Pizza place the extra large is 18″, good pizza, not the best, I prefer GAPC. The family went for dinner and the we had no trouble getting seated. The staff did a good job waiting on us and the pizza came out quick. The salad was good and the garlic knots were a hit at the table.

the pizza was ok so i went back and got the chicken parm sub. big mistake! a small amount of tiny little pieces of chopped up chicken amid a large sub roll. the entire sandwich was bread, sauce and cheese. when i pay up for a large sub i expect my moneys worth. not a roll with sauce and cheese.

So… It’s been a long time since I visited Tony’s. Not for any particular reason but just hasn’t been on my radar. My husband just randomly stopped there to eat a late lunch — it was about 2:30 so they weren’t very busy. When we entered — I had a slight feeling that we were interrupting the staff who were all crammed in the kitchen area. But they sat us pretty quickly. We made our menu choices and waited about 15 minutes before the girl — who was not our waiter — came back to take our drink order. Our waiter finally brought the drinks and took our order. Of course we ordered garlic knots as the appetizer because they have always been amazing. TThis time we also ordered Alfredo sauce, not that their rolls need it but because the child wanted it. the rolls are taller than before but still yummy! The Alfredo — watery and no flavor! I won’t order it again… Even the waiter asked it was any good because it looked watery. Our son ordered the Mac-n-cheese and we decided to split a calzone. The Mac-n-cheese looked terrible — not what a child would want to eat and the cheese sauce again was watery! The calzone was really, really good. We very much enjoyed it! The small was plenty for two — we even got a box to take the extra home We were not impressed with the service but it could have just been the one waiter…

Holy hidden gem goodness! I was with a friend today, who is from out of town, and he asked what was good around Mount Dora to eat. I named off a few places and we decided on my favorite pizza place. Low and behold it was closed so we happened upon Tony’s by chance and I’m damn glad we did. We started with the fried ravioli as a appetizer and when it came put the waitress brought us an order of the fried pepperoni since we mentioned it was our first time there, they were«on the house.» Both we amazing. Whoever the genius is who decided to fry the pepperoni– I thank you. Our main dish was a pizza with meatballs, sausage, and feta cheese… Because we didn’t get enough fat from our apps. Strange combination but it was pure bliss. We also ordered the lunch portion of the stuffed shells and they were stupid good too. Long story short: my previous favorite pizza joint in Lake county has been dethroned. Bravo Tony!

Service took a little bit which was annoying because we were really hungry but it wasn’t disappointing. Food was very good. My little girl who hardly ever eats, had 4 pieces! We still prefer PizzAmore in downtown Mt. Dora but this is a close second.

Recently had a take-out XL pizza. Thin crust, two toppings. Nothing spectacular, in fact rather mediocre. Had left overs and the next day, with a little more pizza sauce, garlic powder and cheese it became a decent pizza. Additionally it was too pricy for what it was. No reason to go back.

Returned back to the area after 16years and the food is exactly as I remember it! I love the Greek salad and the garlic knots are a breed of their own! You can eat them all day! Don’t forget to try any of their pastas sandwiches or pizzas… all are great … End with one of their homemade deserts., you won’t regret it…

Pricy lunch special and nothing special at all! Pizza was very small and not that great. Two very small slices of pizza and a sweet tea, not worth the price.

Another good pizza find! Garlic rolls were a nice treat before the pie. Staff was super attentive, I actually had two servers. Not one taking over for the other, but two people constantly watching over our table. Great place.
