Food was amazing. Service was terrible. I would give this place 5 stars if the service had even been just mediocre. But it was just bad. Let me start with the good part: the amazing food. My sister and her husband had the S-n-S breakfast(two eggs, meat, hash browns and a biscuit) and ordered gravy. Honestly it looked perfect. Big, fluffy biscuits and eggs were cooked literally to perfection. Bacon was perfectly cooked as well. And the quality of the bacon was amazing(I sampled) my boyfriend ordered the shrimp and grits with biscuits and gravy and I had pancakes, sausage and hash browns. His shrimp and grits were so amazingly wonderful. Whoever the cook here is… I hope he/she makes a decent salary and I hope this place knows what a gem they have in him/her because I honestly have never seen such perfectly cooked breakfast items before. My pancakes were so-so, but they were gluten free and I didn’t know what to expect. I suspect that, for gluten free, they’re probably awesome… but I had never had gluten free pancakes so I have nothing to compare them. The service… oh how I wish it would have been better because the food was so spot on. We 4 walked in and the waitress(hostess? Idk because everyone was doing everything) said hi. Four more people walked in and she asked how many was in their party and took their name for a table. I spoke up and said we hadn’t been checked in yet. She said«Oh…name?» No big deal… we were seated before the others so it worked out. We were seated and given menus. Two more tables were given menus and their orders were taken before we were even asked if we were ready to order. We ordered our drinks and when they came, we told her we were ready to order but asked if she could bring us some cream for the coffee, some straws and lemon for water. She said yes and walked away. Someone else came and took our order. The girl who was supposed to be getting the lemon and cream and straws walked to the counter to do something else. I assume she got sidetracked because 15 minutes later we still didn’t get our stuff. My sister walked up to the counter and asked the same girl if she could go ahead and give her the lemon, straws, and cream. She said«okay» and handed her the stuff. Never apologized or acknowledged she forgot. When my sister and her husband’s food came out, 50 minutes after sitting down at our table, ours didn’t come with it. My sister and her husband were almost finished with their plates when our food arrived. And not once did anyone recognize that this shouldn’t have happened and apologize. Also, nobody ever offered a drink refill. My brother in law had to ask for more tea. My sister walked to the counter for a water refill. I asked for coffee once at the end and the lady said they were having to brew more. She brought some a few minutes later. I heard one of the waitresses say that one of the girls had called in that morning because her kids were sick, so I assume they were shorthanded. And I totally get how that can throw your service off… but, if nothing else, come out and say something like«I’m so sorry I forgot your lemon…» or «I apologize that your table’s food didn’t come out together; we’re shorthanded today and the kitchen is backed up…» Just acknowledge that this is not the norm for their service. It’s a shame because the food was SO good. So, the next time we’re in Eureka Springs, if we decide to eat here, it will most definitely be for call-ahead take-out.

I was there for brunch on Sunday, November 8th. I ordered the shrimp and grits and sausage biscuits and gravy. I am sorry it took 45 or so minutes to get our food and the other customers who got there later already received their order. Our waitress did not even checked on us to see if we needed anything else nor see if she can refill our drinks, or even check to see what the status is on our order. We almost walked out and said forget it! Service was awful and won’t go back sorry…

We stopped here on our way out of town. I ordered the Quiche of the Day with cheesy garlic grits and a biscuit(they brought me sausage gravy). It was delicious! I do have to warn you that there are chunks of garlic in the grits, and garlic doesn’t really go well with coffee. My husband ordered the Shrimp and Grits and a side of bacon. He said, «a little greasy, but delicious, and they have good bacon.» Gluten-free pancakes are on the menu, for those needing to avoid it.

So impressed! Came here on a tip from the waitress at Bubbas BBQ, which is also a gem. The breakfast options were very out of the ordinary and quite surprisingly good! Wished we had sat on the scenic porch directly out back from entrance, but definitely next trip! Photo is chorizo omelet Light and fluffy, delicate flavors and they gave us a low carb option instead of potatoes and bread on the side. Lots of home made baked goods for sale on the counter. The chef is a surgeon and should be awarded for the fare. Cleanest spot, best food and a reasonably priced option. Will go back soon as I can.

We had the Savory Cheesecake appetizer with artichokes, spinach, and green onions was very good. A very good cheeseburger, and the crab avocado melt crossaint was heavenly! Some of the best made from scratch food we have had in our travels over the last few years!

Really wanted to try the food here because of the ratings. We initially went in the restaurant and asked if they were still serving breakfast, it was Saturday at 11:00am. When we were told no, we went back to car but on further consideration went back in, the place is very plain while attempting to be trendy. The treats on the counter looked awesome. We were told to sit wherever we wished as it was not busy and someone would be right with us. We chose a seat by a window as I looked forward to a nice foodie treat. No one ever came to the table. I kept looking back to the two waitresses that were standing at the end of the counter chatting with each other. Clearly they forgot us which I found to be sort if strange since we entered twice. I was by now keeping track of time and after 7 minutes passed,(was willing to wait for 10) another couple entered the restaurant, sat down, and were provided with silverware and menus… time to go. We went across the street where we had a great meal served by an awesome waitress.

Great breakfast spot! We found this the first day because we were STARVING, just rolled into eureka springs, and it’s right across from the visitor center. A little gem! Good coffee, great food, and the nicest servers. Some in my crowd are vegetarian, and they had lots of options. But plenty for the meat eater too. And the portions are huge. I had the quiche. It was great. And maybe even better were the flaky biscuits and the garlicky grits! Yum! My fruit was sweetened w honey. And when my friend asked for real maple syrup to go on their pancake, they had it! We didn’t try the baked goods, but they looked really good. We thought about trying something new the next morning, but went back here instead.

Not very impressive from the road but excellent food. Best cheeseburgers in town and outstanding vegetable cheese cake appetizer. Everything fresh, homemade and upscale. Crab meat croissant was wonderful with homemade chips. We are local and glad to have this in our community .we love outside screened in porch. also plenty of parking including behind which is a bonus in Eureka. Enjoy

Ok I’m full now! It’s really good food and plenty of it! The portions per dollar are exceptional! It was a full house and the service was a little slow but expected for a busy morning on a holiday. Not complaining, just be prepared to take in the atmosphere while you wait.

We stopped here on Sunday at about 10 am for breakfast after a busy holiday weekend(Valentines Day and Mardi Gras). We like to come to Eureka to get away and experience the relaxed atmosphere for a night every few months during the fall and winter. We had a party of four. It has a very pleasant atmosphere and had the local touch of flavor. We waited a few minutes for a table but I think that is normal on a busy holiday. Once seated, I ordered a cinnamon roll while we waited for the rest of our party to arrive. It was yummy loved the frosting. I ordered 2 eggs, hash browns, biscuit and bacon. My husband ordered the Chirozo 3 egg omelette. Our food was really good. Only negative part of our experience is they seemed short staffed. Our waitress was waiting both sides of the restaurant and playing hostess(I think she was the owner, she was wearing a very cute hate and maybe someone called in sick?.) She had a hard time keeping up. Even though this was a negative, the food was good enough to bring us back and give it another try. Will update my review when we return again in a month or so. Hopefully to 5 stars. Keep up the good work guys!

I’m from the DFW metroplex of Dallas, but I come to Arkansas every once in a while, mainly Eureka Springs for that matter since a good friend of mine grew up here, and her family is still living in the area. We came during Independece day weekend, and one of our good friends works here, so we decided to meet up with all her local friends from Eureka for brunch. Coming here all the staff and people are so friendly and helpful, Abbey was especially helpful and kept our coffee’s refilled that were much needed after a long night out. For my brunch, I ordered a crab melt that was served on a croissant, and also came with sliced avocado. I also requested some bacon to be added. It was so delicious! The crab was cooked perfectly, the croissant very light and delicate with a hint of sweetness. The sweet fries that came with it were fried to a golden perfection! In addition to the wonderful food they have, they also have in-store baked goodies! I even came back before leaving back to Texas for some goodies to take home — the lemon blueberry pancake was very moist and delicious! Not too overly sweet, just the right amount of sweetness. I recommend anyone who seems to go through Eureka, to stop by here for a delicious lunch, or some baked goods!
