Description

Specialties

D and L Training offers an outstanding PMP®/CAPM® certification examination prep course that is markedly different. What makes this course unique is its instructor – Les Foley. Les is a former USAF OTS Master Instructor, PMP, and holder of masters degrees in Project Management, Business Administration, and Computer Data Management. As a life-long student of teaching, memory, and cognitive enhancement methods he uses a number of accelerated learning techniques in his approach to teaching. Course attendees learn not only the technical information needed to pass the exam, but also ways and means to remember that information through stories, pictures, humor, and various memory aids. As a graduate of the Air Force Academic Instructor School, Les spent three years training USAF OTS instructors how to teach in the classroom. Les is passionate about teaching, project management, and helping others. The instructor makes all the difference in the world. Les makes the difference!

History

Established in 2006.

After teaching an after-hours PMP®/CAPM® Certification Exam Prep Course for five years, and producing a number of PMPs for a former employer, Les and Denise Foley started D and L Training. Thereafter, Les conducted a couple of courses at hotels in Lake Worth, TX and Euless, TX.

Over the past year and a half, Les has taught six, tuition-free, 36-hour, PMP®/CAPM® Certification Exam Prep classes for unemployed individuals at White’s Chapel in Southlake, TX. Over 300 people have attended this training to date. A number of these attendees have gone on to pass their PMP exam and subsequently gain employment.

Most recently, Les was hired as a contract instructor by Rebus Business Solutions to conduct 4-day, PMP® Boot Camps in Dallas, TX and Detroit, MI.
