Wonder Wash

As they state, two machine bays, two wash it yourself. When you don’t have time or the inclination to do a good hand wash this place will suffice. My sedan still has grooves and seams that come out dirty on either machine bay. The newer hybrid bay, on the right as you drive in, did a better job for me, but I know some prefer a touchless system such as the one in left bay. OK, but doesn’t replace a good home hand wash.

This car wash misses so many spots on your vehicle. The back of my car was barely touched and the hood was as dirty as before I started. For $ 12, I expect for more than just the sides of my vehicle to be cleaned.

The rain could have washed my car better I think. It actually made my car worse as the wax added nasty streaks on my windows. They need to update this car wash before trying it again.

This is the only car wash I could find that is «touchless». I do not like the ones that have brushes or even the ones that are «brushless». I drive a lot going to hiking trails and to visit my sister in Grants Pass. I get a lot of bugs on my windshield. This car wash got every bit of dirt and bugs off my car. This is definately my car wash of choice.

The only reason I came here was because of the Unilocal check in offer.
Here’s the deal, I don’t think the attendant even knew that the business offered a Unilocal check in offer. When I told her about it, she questioned me to make sure it was for this car wash company. I’m not sure if they’ve had a string of rebel teens trying to wash their cars with rogue Unilocal check in offers, but come on!
A basic car wash costs $ 6, so -$ 1, it was a total of $ 5. My car was super dirty, hadn’t been washed in almost 3 months, so of course I didn’t expect this car wash to get my car completely clean… but you know what, it actually did a good job. I do have a Chevy Cobalt so the size of the car may have had something to do with it, but for the most part i was happy. The grill/​hood portion of the car was the dirtiest part after the car wash.
The one thing I didn’t like is that if you want your car to be air dried, you have to pay and extra $ 2 for the upgrade, which I had never heard of. Usually, any time I go through an automatic car wash, the air dry is built into the basic package. So yeah, I had to get out of my car in this amazing 80 degree weather and breathe in this Oregon infused fresh air and use some old high school t-​shirts to mop up my car sweat.
I’m used to going to Hog Wash Express back in Tempe, AZ where a wash costs $ 5, you get the air dry and you get to use the vacuums for free — for me that’s an amazing value. In comparison to that, I would say you don’t get a great bang for the buck here, but if you need a quick cleanse and have some time to dry your car off afterwards, you might as well give this place a shot for $ 5.

I had no idea this was an attended car wash. Pleasant surprise. Punch card, check in deal, friendly attendant = four smiling stars.

Tried to wash my car at Wonder Wash this afternoon. I never take my car through the auto washer, I always do it myself. Well today the two self-​serve stalls were occupied by a woman with literally two buckets and ten bottles of various soaps and waxes, she wasn’t going anywhere for at least half an hour. The other stall had a a guy who was (and I am not kidding) duct taping his truck up BEFORE he washed it. I guess that was to keep parts from flying off. Either way I had already waited 5 minutes and had grown tired of their antics.
Luckily the owner/​manager was there, I rolled down my window and asked why they were bucket washing, and he told me that it was fine! Really? In 20 years this is the ONLY self serve car wash I have come across that allows bucket washing. I am supposed to wait 10, 20 40+ minutes while some moron has a bbq and an extended car detailing session?
*Newsflash* I am here to wash my car because I am in a hurry! If I wasn’t in a hurry I’d wash my car at home and save my money! This is one customer that will NEVER return.

You know, this spot isn’t too bad… BUT with certain vehicles it can miss the back of your car. My wife and I even had a guy who was working there confirm that it misses on lots of cars. That right there drops at least 3 stars, but what salvages the 3^rd star is the fact that customer service has always been top notch, and they give you a wipe to clean up the dust on your dash.
I THINK they have a side with a brush to manually wash it as well. I prefer that way so I don’t have a car that’s 75% clean.
For now A-​OK, but I would give them 5 if the auto wash cleaned the whole car at once.

I had no idea this place existed until the other day.
I enjoy the self-​serve car washes and this one has everything to offer.
They have the typical 8-​option dial for the spray and brush. They have carpet cleaning machines next to the vaccumns, and the place is kept tidy with thanks to the on-​site employee.
The only thing I noticed was the minutes added per quarter are around 40 seconds per 25 cents. Most places in town do 1 min = 25 cents. I cant be too picky, but that was the only thing I would change.
They also have 2 bays set up for automated cleaning, and since that didnt interest me, I didnt bother checking the price. I’ll check it out next time I do the self-​serve.
