60,000 crazy Duck fans with a few visitors thrown in = parking insanity. So we (probably) wisely decided to park and catch the Duck Express. $ 3/​person roundtrip (exact change only) from a number of lots around town (see map). Parking by the stadium was around $ 20.
Worked great getting to Autzen Stadium, but it took a horribly long time to get back to our car. We had to wait more than 30 minutes to board the bus, then it took another 30 to get back to our lot due to traffic gridlock. And did I mention that we were soaked to the bone? Funny how you don’t feel cold in the stadium cheering for your team, but the minute you stand up and start walking, you are freezing.
It was very well organized and efficient, just a crazy amount of people. Also, the return shuttle only operates during halftime and for 60 minutes after the game. So if you plan to leave before the game is over or party afterwards, this isn’t your best option.
