Meh. The wings were hard, which leads me to believe they were old. The staff was more worried about chatting than taking care of customers.

Pretty good burger and I loved the sweet potato fries. The bun was really big, however, and the actual hamburger patty was small. Small, but yummy. Oh well.

Had an awesome first experience here at Toxic. We were craving wings and so trying out a new place was the only option. 20 Boneless was our order with a couple of sauces we chose. Following our order, we went and sat outside and waited for our order. Following an obscenely long time of waiting, a short blonde gal came out and said that someone else also named James has picked up our order and that they were going to «take care of us». Meanwhile we decided to switch our order to to-go. Once we arrived at our favorite«eating spot» we opened up our huge to-go back and were amazed with what we got: at least 30 Boneless wings and what seemed to have been a container of each sauce they had. Now that’s a helluva package! Without-a-doubt, our two favorite sauces were the Raspberry-Habanero and the Peach-Jalapeño. We will surely be back after the way they treated us!

Finally got around to eating here. My husband picked up food to go. He got strips with pineapple chipotle sauce and fries. He said he liked it and the chicken was good quality. I got the chili cheese fries. The fries were good but the chili was sweet and tasty ketchupy and unfortunately had pieces of bacon in it. I love chili cheese fries and I haven’t found my go-to place yet — I definitely wouldn’t get these again. I also got a side salad. It was mostly lettuce and onions, but the ranch dressing was good. Hopefully next time will be better. I planning on trying something else.

YUMMY, YUMMY, YUMMY! Had a GREAT lunch there today! I see some reviews that mention price, but I say… This ain’t McDonald’s! I’m HAPPY to pay more for CLEAN food & Toxic’s food is squeaky clean! My grass fed burger wrapped in lettuce was FABULOUS, the service was GREAT, & even the fries were yummy! I tasted some wings too & they were FANTASTIC! Toxic also has breakfast, so I bet I’ll be popping in there more often. The service was GREAT too, which made the entire experience AWESOME! HOORAY for Toxic!

I’m giving it 3 stars because my last order the chicken was tough and over cooked :(AND I got one of the sauces instead of the two that come with the meal… Ahem, their wings are usually nice and if it was a month ago this three stars would have been four. The place is small so limited seating but the food is mostly worth it(again this is reviewing my last order). The staff is always friendly and ready to answer any questions. The sauces are so good!!! I think they are made in-house. The bone in wings are usually better than the boneless here. That’s all I have to say for now. Will I go again? Yes, but after sometime. Do I recommend it? Yes…

Unbelievable little hole in the wall. It was a little interesting trying to ‘splain to the kids why we were going to eat toxic food. But it was awesome! Don’t let the name fool you. The burgers in this joint are awesome too. The boneless wings were huge and perfectly cooked. My 10 yo who hardly eats devoured her«wee sliders» basket and ordered another order of sliders(2), then ate those too. Friendly folks, great food. Oh! and lunch for 4 was under $ 25. Well done, Toxic Wings!

What a true treat! It is small — and tables were tight, but that’s a GOOD sign! We were there later on a weeknight, and that’s ALWAYS a good sign… So…Eat here — and enjoy!

I really wanted to like this place since we heard good things… But the chicken wings were way too dry to be enjoyable. Sad.

Amazing wings… The honey sriracha wings are money! The intoxicator burger(I had it only with double patty) was flipping delicious!!! Great place! Will definitely be returning soon!!! I highly recommend it to any local or people visiting the Eugene/Springfield area!

The only thing I didn’t like about this place was how small it was. The wings and fries are great though. Their boneless wings are HUGE compared to other places. Prices are okay. I would just recommend getting your order to-go because of the size of the place especially when it’s busy. I definitely prefer the wings here over chains like BWW.

The adjective«toxic» doesn’t really elicit excitement or hunger in me, but the only thing toxic about this burger & wing joint is how addictive everything is. Goodbye, skinny jeans– it’s curtains for you! The wings are hand-rubbed with TW’s secret herb mix, smoked in fragrant clouds of mesquite and hickory, and then fried in rice bran oil. They’re served with your choice of 20 sauces(17 of which are gluten-free!), and range from mild to «crazy spicy». Although I like how the smoking process adds a layer of depth to the flavor of the wings, they sometimes come out on the dry side. I am more impressed by TW’s burgers, which feature locally-sourced, grass fed beef and buttery brioche buns– which are baked fresh daily by The Bread Stop, and made with local, non-GMO grains. The patties are slender, juicy and flavorful, and made even more delicious when doubled up & sandwiching a melty slice of cheese. It’s an especially nice touch that the burger buns are branded with Toxic’s signature«X». I’m also a sucker for the chili cheese fries, which hold no secrets– just mounds of house-made chili and gooey American cheese, smothering thin, crisp fries. If chili cheese fries aren’t your jam, TW also offers sweet potato fries and bacon cheddar fries. In the mornings, TW offers breakfast burritos and omelets, chicken ‘n waffle plates, and Caffé Pacori Coffee. Daily specials vary, and feature anything from brisket fries to hash browns stuffed with smoked chicken to Persian plates, complete with saffron rice. The service is always friendly and infectiously enthusiastic. And now, hardcore TW fans can purchase $ 100 gift cards for $ 80 at Costco– which make those $ 5 double cheeseburgers even more of a deal. :)

Been going sinse it opened, but overtime the quality and quantity has suffered. I keep going back hoping for a return to the original quality. This last time I had the boneless and fries. Good flavor, but overcooked, dry and rubbery. There were 5 pieces with no size consistency, one piece was as small a quarter. The fries were very good and the sauces I had were great. Over all unsatisfied, but I’ll try again in a few months and see how they’re doing.

My husband and I were debating where to eat a few days ago, and I suggested Toxic because I had seen tons of good stuff on Unilocal about it. Oddly enough, he had seen something as well, although not on Unilocal because he’s not a big Unilocaler. We ended up going somewhere else, but on the condition our next trip was to try out Toxic. We found it, which if you aren’t looking for it, you’ll totally miss it. It’s a very tiny restaurant, although not far from the strip mall where Bi-Mart is, and Abby’s Pizza and the bowling alley. You just have to pay attention to find it the first time. We went in and were greeted by the cashier immediately. We studied the menu long enough that she asked if we had been there before, which we said no. She said if you have any questions, feel free to ask. She didn’t say it and wander off or get impatient, it was a friendly and helpful invitation. She informed us that the sauces came on the side unless otherwise specified, which was just fine with me, especially being our first time. My husband ordered 20 wings and I had a double cheeseburger, without tomatoes and extra pickles. They forgot the specifics of my burger, as it had tomatoes on it. It wasn’t a huge deal. It’s only when pickles are left off that I get hostile. So I lived with it, as there was no reason to send it back. We had BBQ sauce, the chili lime something, raspberry habanero, and parmesan garlic sauces. I loved the raspberry habanero, and my husband loved the chili lime one. The bbq sauce was store bought, my husband citing it was likely Bullseye brand. He works in a restaurant, and that’s what they use, which tasted the same he said. I’m not a bbq sauce fanatic, so I can’t tell which store brand is which, but it works. The wings are advertised as being smoked and then deep fried. It had a different taste to them, given they were smoked. But the skin was super crispy and the meat very tender. It was perfect. I tried a couple of his wings. I loved them. My husband drizzled sauce into his wings, as it was difficult to dip them into the sauces. I despise finger foods, really. I eat pizza with a fork, which should tell you something. We did agree that we are getting boneless wings the next time because it’s my preference, and it’ll make dipping easier. If you’re a fan of bone-in wings, I would recommend that you have them tossed with whatever sauce you choose. If we do get bone-in wings next time, we will ask that they are tossed in sauce instead of on the side, but we are giving the boneless ones a try next time. The restaurant itself is incredibly tiny, but they do have outside seating, which is a larger area than the dining room. I don’t know how it would be for conversation purposes, given how much traffic is on River Road. But it would be worth a try on a sunny day. Customer service is great. Another customer ordered wings, which one was dropped in the kitchen, and the cashier told this to the customer when she brought his wife’s salad(which was a huge salad!) and they sent him out a couple extra wings because of it. Which I think is great. Another one(obviously a regular) walked in and said he would have his regular. So they know the regular customers well and take care of problems. Which I definitely appreciate from any business. That’s what keeps me coming back, for sure.

Great wings(bone in & out), great sliders, prompt service. Keep it up Toxic crew! Really like the taste and texture of the bone in wings, smoked and flash fried is the way to go and bullies the other wing joints in the area.

We live in the neighborhood and have probably eaten the burgers and chicken wings dozens of times. The salads, fries, and sauces are very tasty as well. We’ve always been so impressed, not only by the delicious food but by the spot-on consistency of quality. We’ve taken family and out of town guests, knowing that they’ll agree that the food is fantastic. But we have been disappointed of late! Things are just not as good… and it’s across the board. The pride in quality and what was once obvious TLC has greatly diminished. Sad! Come back, Toxic! ps: The service is ALWAYS5-star.

This place is literally my favorite and I have been a long time customer since day one but after tonight I don’t think I can go back ever. Service was quick and great as always. Got the order to go and when we got home the girlfriend found not one not two but three hairs in her food… She found one in her fries and I said maybe it was just off her coat, but then she found another one in her fries and I reassured her that it was probably just from the air or something. Following that she checked her bacon cheese burger and found ANOTHER. At that point she couldn’t even take one bite of her burger. Super disappointed as this is one of my favorite spots, but there is no excuse to have three different hairs in one meal.

Burgers are good! Very tasty, with a nice bun. Old-fashioned style — on the small side with a thin patty. Doubles, triples, etc. are offered. I heard an employee tell a customer that 9 patties was the record for someone to eat in a sitting. Let that be a challenge… to all of you, not me :) Also, they have temporary tattoos! Great little giveaway item. Their branding and logo is cool. Nice going, Toxic. Affordable brews, especially during happy hour.

Last week we were on our way home from some weekend shopping and realized we totally had not even thought about dinner. Low and behold we were on River Road and I remembered Toxic Wings & Fries and how I had been wanting to stop in and try their food. We ordered the veggie burger with Swiss. The regular cheese burger, an order of fries and an order of 12 bone in wings with the garlic Parmesan and the chili maple lime sauces. We ordered all of this to go. while we were waiting, a table had ordered the brisket fries and had that brought out to them. it looked so terribly awesome. I immediately wanted to change my whole order and get 4 orders of that instead. I am glad I didn’t but will definitely make sure to order them next time. The car ride home proved interesting because we both had to stop ourselves from trying to get into the bag of food. The smell that filled the car was so intoxicating, it took all of our might to wait until we got home. The wait was so worth it. the fries, awesome! the regular cheeseburger, awesome! the veggie burger, awesome! the wings, holy moly, awesome! All I can really say is all in all very very good.

I am not a resident of the greater Eugene Metroplex, however I do come down here pretty often to visit my Big Shot Nephew and his well above average family. He has been talking up Toxic Wings for months now so when I knew I was coming down we already knew where lunch was going to be. I wouldn’t say I am the authority on buffalo wings but I do love them and I will go way out of my way to find good ones. Toxic does a great job of smoking the wings first, then frying them. Yes, you do lose a little of the smoky flavor in the frying process but smoking chicken gives it a rubbery skin, so this makes for a crispy wing. The sauces are plentiful, many choices from classic to exotic, from mild to mind blowing hot and I was even told there is an off the menu hotter sauce. No thanks. I went with Frank’s Medium, a traditional Buffalo Wing and at the behest of the Nephew I tried the Chili Maple Lime which was darn tasty. 12 wings and an order of fries was enough to fill me up. Fries were excellent. It’s a small joint, limited parking in the lot and a little off the beaten path on River Road but on this beautiful 80 degree day we opted to eat outside on the patio. The benches have umbrellas in case the sun gets intense. The napkin holders are cool, they look like old time Coke machines. The staff was exceptionally nice and service was quick. Bathrooms were clean. Handicapped access is unfortunate here, the parking lot is very rough if you are on a knee scooter, walker or wheelchair. There are two handicapped spots next to the building. The layout in the restaurant is challenging but not impossible. Unfortunately for handicapped access I have to give them a D+. If the landowner would pave the lot it would be a B.
