History

Established in 2015.

Tomás’ photo journey started out as a hobby back in 2009. He was born in France, lived in South America and recently the US. He has been exposed to many cultures in different countries and was always fascinated by people coming together. People watching and photography has allowed him to express the world through his eyes. He found weddings to be a perfect way to culminate his life experiences: reuniting, culture, love and traveling.

I began photography around 2010 as a hobby. I quickly found it was the tool I need to self express when words were not available. I found repeating patterns in my photos and decided to develop them artistically and as specifically as possible. My interest or curiosity lie in traveling, the celebration of life, the amazing people who I meet along the way, and my abstract perception of the world.

Tomas is my go to photographer for family portraits and family events. He’s amazingly patient with my twin nieces which is a true testament to his character. He has a beautiful eye And our pictures always come out looking amazing and special. Just say no to big box run or the mill boring photos and hire Tomas for truly special captured moments.

This establishment does such amazing work. It is high quality and simply gorgeous. There was a specific piece I simply fell in love with of a beautiful starry sky it was so perfect you could even see the milky way! He went out of his way to have it printed for me at a very reasonable price. I absolutely love it. And he is a DREAM to work with. You will NOT be disappointed.

Tomas was awesome. He and his team were very professional and easy to interact with. I’d arranged a surprise party for one of my best friends and had his team on standby to capture the moment. Not only did he capture the surprise moment perfectly, but documented the entire night so we will all never forget it. I couldn’t recommend Tomas more highly for any of your photo needs!

Twenty some odd people, all from the same family under one roof and not a single photographer among us. So what did I have to do for our 15 year family reunion? You guessed it, we hired one.
Tomas was courteous, clean, and an all around great photographer. Everyone had a wonderful time at the event and loved the photos and how they turned out with everyone best angle in mind. And even for those few in the family that don’t quite remember the whole night for themselves, now they too can share in the experience they missed out on.
I will definitely recommend to friends and will be using Tomas for future events.

I hired Tomas to do some family photographs at the urging of a friend. I wasn’t sure exactly what setting I wanted or how to capture us in the most natural way but Tomas guided us the entire way. My husband and I had our baby 3 months early, he was finally able to come home last week and we were SO excited to get some «newborn» photos taken of him! We found Tomas Hidalgo Photography through a friend. Him and his assistant Ashley came right to our house to take the photos and showed up right on time, which was great! They were both very professional, but also very down to earth and laid back. They were also very patient with our cranky baby. We got a good amount of photos taken, and we got the edited photos sent to us that same night! I would highly recommend Tomas and his assistant Ashley for any kind of photo shoot you may be wanting :)

From beginning to end Tomas and his team were amazing.
They arrived early to scope out the site, they took time to see where the best spots would be and when would be the best time to take them with how the sun was setting.
Throughout the whole ceremony he managed to get spectacular photos without making his presence known. He was extremely accommodating to all the different requests from our family for the after photos. He stayed for the party and took photos of everyone from the tables to the dance floor, no one was left out.
He was very prompt with getting the photos back to us and did a fantastic job with the editing.
Thanks to Tomas and his professional team we have memories that will last a lifetime. I would highly recommend using Tomas for any occasion where you want beautiful photos to look back on for years to come.
