The Blazing Chef specializes in providing our customers with the best food and Espresso/Coffee drinks possible.
We make our own beer batter and use the best tasting fish available. Current fish choices are Tilapia, Albacore and Salmon. We make the best Fish Sandwich in town (according to our customers) and our Grilled Salmon Burger is becoming a hit as well.
We make our french fries from fresh cut potatos and use a double fry method to provide crispy fries (especially if eaten right away). And the oil we fry in is always trans fat free.
Our espresso and coffee beans come from Wandering Goat, always organic and fair trade. We use Café Femenino’ Bolivia ‘Caranavi for our drip coffee, a bean grown by an all-women’s co-op, and all income generated from the sale of this smooth, sweet coffee goes directly to benefit the women farmers who produce it.

History
Established in 2008.
The Blazing Chef has operated as a Saturday Market booth selling Fish and Chips for nearly 8 years. After several years of donating my used fry oil to Green Eye Autos and becoming friends with the owners (Clark and Jacob) the idea of opening a permanent location in their car lot materialized into what is now an Espresso and Fish and Chips shop operating 7 days a week. I opened in October of 2008, and am continuously building a great customer base of regulars… and newcomers.
Having years at the Saturday Market has created some great practices that you don’t find in many establishments these days… sourcing as much locally as possible, using as much organic ingredients as possible, making everything from scratch, and being accountable to customers by cooking everything directly in front of them.
I use Wandering Goat Espresso and Coffee and have been trained by them to serve the best drinks possible. I hope to be able to serve you soon, and hear what you think.
