Textiles A Mano offers artisan hand colored yarns and hand-​blended fiber batts, knitting/​crochet supplies, and patterns & kits. From handcrafted buttons to the latest books, we have everything you need for creating a beautiful project.

We also offer lessons for individuals and groups, and professional services such as finishing and patterns.

History

Established in 2000.

Owner Laura Macango-​Shang started Textiles A Mano in 2000 in Louisville, Colorado. She was open one day a week, and people would come for the yarn or to knit.

Today Textiles A Mano has a strong and loyal following of crocheters, knitters, spinners, and fiber artists. The unique hand-​dyed yarns and fibers are perfect for any special project.

Business Owner

Laura started knitting as a child in Argentina. She started Textiles A Mano while working as a social worker in Colorado. Over time, she transitioned to running the shop full time. She and her husband moved to Eugene in 2009, and she re-​opened Textiles A Mano.
