Meet the Business Owner

Business Owner

Born and raised in the Willamette Valley, Steve Smith’s interest in photography started at an early age. He landed his first job in a professional studio at age 14. After high school, he earned a scholarship to Brooks Institute, an accredited photography and film school in Santa Barbara, California. With this step, Steve’s career was just beginning.

After graduating from Brooks Institute in 1992, Steve returned to Oregon and began his professional career in Eugene. He joined forces with PhotOregon in 1995, subsequently becoming a partner. In his 12 years as lead photographer at PhotOregon, Steve honed his craft to a level few achieve. In 2009, Steve joined the Imagine Graphics family and a powerful new synergy began, raising the bar even higher.
