I’m totally shocked at the negative reviews… I’ve been a customer of theirs for 4 years and have been extremely happy with the services I’ve received. I pay a nominal monthly fee and twice a year, they come and perform maintenance on my home heating/​cooling systems. They are always prompt, courteous and have always done a great job. If I do need anything such as new parts or whatever, I get a discount as part of the monthly fee I pay. It’s awesome. I highly recommend Nick for the services… he’s great at what he does and always has a smile on his face… even when he has to go up into my spider infested attic.

Wow! I couldn’t believe the negative reviews. I previously used a company that told me they couldn’t come out for several days when my heat went out. This was in spite of my having a maintenance contract.
I changed to Priority One. I had them install a new system. The only time I had a problem they came out at 10pm on a Sunday night when our A/​C wasn’t cooling enough. Service has been excellent. So has our heat and A/​C.

We unfortunately had to replace our AC unit this summer, and after getting a few opinions and bids decided to go with Priority One. I was a little worried because of the poor reviews, but have to say we could not be happier!
The price, customer service, equipment, and install all exceeded our expectations!

Bad customer service. They came out to look at my problem, then said they would another $ 55 (on top of the first $ 55 charged for the diagnosis) to get back to me with a quote (after paying $ 55 up front, they know you’ll pay more to justify the first charge). Then when I got the repair quote (with just a couple words on it and a number) I wanted it explained further, but nobody would call me back for over a week. I asked for a refund, and they refunded only the 2nd $ 55 (not the diagnostic charge). Can’t recommend a company with such bad customer service. They need to rethink their service model, as those of us with any intelligence are likely to feel insulted.

Their repairman showed up early, not two hours late like some other company. Charged us about half of what Marshalls wanted. We have a working furnace again :) We would absolutely use Priority One again.

Worse customer experience ever! They asked me to send them a check to start service, in which I did. They cashed my check, and never called me to schedule a service. I then called and scheduled a service & put it on the calendar. They never showed up. I have now been trying for over two weeks to get a refund! It’s insulting.

No phone call back when promised from techs. No tech ever came out by a 6 pm appt. Finally got a call from tech at 7 pm, saying he would call my asst manager on site. Asst manager never got a call. Had to call back the next morning at 11 am when nobody had attempted to reach out. Then I was told they couldn’t get a tech on site for 2 more days, lol. Last I checked I was first in line, so how I was bumped out 2 days I have no idea. You were the recommendation from a big GC in town. Let him know what happened too. That’s just bad CS.

What ever you do, don’t use Priority Heating! Don’t fall for their $ 55.00 fee to come out and give you an estimate. We had a Reversing Value fail on our heat pump. They charged us $ 1350.00 for the repair and that was under warranty. They charged $ 500.00 for 1.75 hours for labor. When I complained about the hourly rate he said he had to order the part and pick it up, so that is why the labor was so expensive. I asked the technician to have Mark, the owner, call me to discuss the bill, but I didn’t ever hear from him. They did not give me a written estimate before they did the work. They were very vague about the cost. I had used Priority Heating in the past, but not anymore. Run as fast as you can from this company, or you will pay.

We used Priority One for the first time last fall for an A/​C Tune-​up. This spring when we went to use our A/​C we realized some wires had not been reconnected and we now needed a new compressor ($ 2000 job). We contacted Priority One and the owner was at our house that afternoon to take a look. The next day they ordered the part and called to schedule the repair. A very friendly and professional technician named Jermey came to our home and completed the job in two hours for no charge. I will use Priority One for all of our heating and A/​C needs from now forward. The manner in which they treated this situation was professional, above reproach and I would strongly recommend friends use their services.

It’s sad, but I would not ever refer anyone to these guys. The service techs are nice guys. But Priority One installed a hot water heater for me, and for three weeks they told me it was normal for my garage to smell like gas — or that the weather was causing it. Finally the installer made a third visit after my repeated complaints. Once he decided to spend time on it he found a faulty part had been leaking natural gas into my home for three weeks. After I almost threatened to sue, the owner of the company finally refunded 25 percent of the cost. But they should have done it right the first — not the third — time. They never apologized, either.

i had a completely horrible experience with these guys. i’m in a wheelchair paralysed from the chest down and heating is extremely important because i could end up hospitalized a lot easier than most people due to my condition. i explained this to them when i inquired about their service, as my heat was totally not working. my service tech’s name was mark. i thought he was going to do a great job because he seemed prompt and even brought me out a heater to borrow while i waited for my part, but then the part came in, he said he would call me that afternoon, but neverrrr did. i called him back twice that week thinking maybe he lost my number, but still nothing. after sitting in my cold house for almost a week a gave up on him. i was shocked that i didn’t hear back from him, not even to come get his heater. when i did hire someone else, the service was way better for way less. mark actually called me today, almost two months later to check on me and to ask for his heater back, obviously i let him know how i felt, but as if his lack of customer service wasn’t bad enough the first time, this time he actually sat there and argued extensively with me about how it was all my fault. i would recommend anyone except these guys.
